Cette progression est en grande partie attribuable \u00e0 l\u2019Am\u00e9rique, o\u00f9 le chiffre d\u2019affaires est pass\u00e9 de 270 \u00e0 286 millions de livres (385 millions d\u2019euros).<\/p>\n<p>En Asie par contre le groupe a vu son chiffre d\u2019affaires reculer de 385 \u00e0 377 millions de livres (500 millions d\u2019euros), et ce principalement en raison du ralentissement de la croissance \u00e9conomique en Chine. De plus le groupe y a perdu une partie de sa client\u00e8le, depuis que les autorit\u00e9s chinoises dans le cadre de la lutte contre la corruption ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019interdire les cadeaux d\u2019affaires de luxe.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs le groupe a constat\u00e9 que bon nombre de Chinois ont pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 faire leurs achats en Europe, o\u00f9 ils ont pu tirer profit d\u2019un euro bon march\u00e9. Dans la r\u00e9gion \u2018Europe, Moyen-Orient et Inde\u2019 le chiffre d\u2019affaires est pass\u00e9 de 410 \u00e0 416 millions de livres (560 millions d\u2019euros).<\/p>\n<p>Pour la deuxi\u00e8me moiti\u00e9 de l\u2019ann\u00e9e Burberry s\u2019attend \u00e0 une croissance des ventes \u00e0 un chiffre, sur base comparable. D\u2019autre part l\u2019entreprise souhaite se concentrer sur la ma\u00eetrise de co\u00fbts, en contr\u00f4lant notamment les frais de voyages et les budgets marketing.
