R\u00e9cemment deux fonds r\u00e9put\u00e9s pour leurs restructurations radicales sont intervenus.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Pas d\u2019investissements et restructuration radicale<\/h2>\n<p>Maxeda ne parvient pas \u00e0 trouver d\u2019acqu\u00e9reur pour ses trois enseignes, vu le lourd endettement de l\u2019entreprise. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es le groupe a perdu des parts de march\u00e9\u00a0 et a d\u00fb faire face \u00e0 la concurrence f\u00e9roce de <strong>Hornback<\/strong> et <strong>Bauhaus<\/strong>. C\u2019est pourquoi Maxeda tente de c\u00e9der ses magasins.<\/p>\n<p>\nMais en vain,\u00a0 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que r\u00e9cemment deux candidats entrent en jeu, le fran\u00e7ais Ardian et l\u2019am\u00e9ricain Goldentree, tous deux connus comme \u00e9tant des \u2018distressed debt funds\u2019. En \u00e9change de la reprise de 200 millions d\u2019euros de dettes, ceux-ci ont obtenu une participation majoritaire dans Maxeda, apprend-on dans le journal De Telegraaf.<\/p>\n<p>\nG\u00e9n\u00e9ralement les &lsquo;distressed debt funds&rsquo; n\u2019interviennent qu\u2019au moment o\u00f9 une entreprise est en forte difficult\u00e9, leur objectif \u00e9tant de sortir un maximum d\u2019argent de l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 court terme. G\u00e9n\u00e9ralement leur strat\u00e9gie consiste \u00e0\u00a0 \u00e9carter la direction et \u00e0 proc\u00e9der \u00e0 une profonde restructuration, souvent au d\u00e9triment des employ\u00e9s. Par ailleurs ils ne pr\u00e9voient aucun investissement<\/p>\n<p>\nIl est donc probable que le remplacement de l\u2019ancien CEO de Maxeda par le Fran\u00e7ais Guy Colleau ne soit pas fortuit. Rappelons \u00e9galement que le directeur de groupe Roy van Keulen a lui aussi quitt\u00e9 l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n<h2>\nEspoir pour l\u2019avenir malgr\u00e9 tout<\/h2>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 tout Maxeda reste confiant dans l\u2019avenir : \u00ab La restructuration financi\u00e8re permettra de r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement la dette et les charges d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eats de l\u2019entreprise, ce qui nous donnera davantage de possibilit\u00e9s de croissance \u00bb, commente un porte-parole dans le journal De Telegraaf.<\/p>\n<p>\nPar le pass\u00e9 Maxeda \u00e9tait connu sous le nom Vendex KBB et \u00e9tait propri\u00e9taire de Bijenkorf, Hema et V&amp;D. En 2004 le groupe a \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 de la bourse par le fonds d\u2019investissement KKR pour un montant de 2,4 milliards d\u2019euros.
