L&rsquo;organisme europ\u00e9en de surveillance alimentaire s&rsquo;appuie sur un avis juridique qui renvoie \u00e0 la Cour de justice europ\u00e9enne et aux r\u00e8gles europ\u00e9ennes en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;information alimentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00ab Absurde et ill\u00e9gale \u00bb<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En octobre, le Parlement europ\u00e9en a approuv\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/le-parlement-europeen-vote-en-faveur-dune-interdiction-de-lappellation-burger-vegetarien\/\">l&rsquo;interdiction des appellations carn\u00e9es<\/a> pour les alternatives v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Des termes tels que \u00ab burger \u00bb, \u00ab steak \u00bb ou \u00ab saucisse \u00bb ne pourraient plus \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s que pour les produits \u00e0 base de viande, tandis que des appellations telles que \u00ab burger v\u00e9g\u00e9tarien \u00bb ou \u00ab saucisse de soja \u00bb seraient interdites. Mais selon un avis juridique demand\u00e9 par Foodwatch, cette proposition est en contradiction avec un arr\u00eat de la Cour de justice europ\u00e9enne, qui interdit aux \u00c9tats membres de supprimer des noms de produits sans proposer d&rsquo;alternatives claires. L&rsquo;analyse fait \u00e9galement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au r\u00e8glement europ\u00e9en sur l&rsquo;information alimentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le directeur de Foodwatch, Chris Methmann, qualifie une interdiction europ\u00e9enne des \u00ab saucisses de tofu \u00bb ou des \u00ab escalopes de soja \u00bb non seulement d&rsquo;absurde, mais aussi d&rsquo;ill\u00e9gale.
