El Corte Ingl\u00e9s publie cette nouvelle le jour o\u00f9 Cristina \u00c1lvarez prend officiellement ses fonctions de pr\u00e9sidente non ex\u00e9cutive du d\u00e9taillant. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/general\/le-president-del-corte-ingles-nomme-sa-soeur-comme-successeur\/\">nomm\u00e9e pr\u00e9sidente le 26 novembre<\/a>, succ\u00e9dant ainsi \u00e0 sa s\u0153ur Marta. La nouvelle pr\u00e9sidente conserve la structure de direction actuelle, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9organis\u00e9e en octobre apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part de Gast\u00f3n Bottazzini en tant que PDG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c1lvarez h\u00e9rite d&rsquo;une entreprise en meilleure sant\u00e9 financi\u00e8re et en pleine croissance. El Corte Ingl\u00e9s a cl\u00f4tur\u00e9 le dernier exercice (termin\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier dernier) avec un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net de 512 millions d&rsquo;euros. La dette s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 1 738 millions d&rsquo;euros, soit pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 du niveau de 2019. Le chiffre d&rsquo;affaires du groupe s&rsquo;est \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 16,7 milliards d&rsquo;euros au cours du dernier exercice, contre 16,3 milliards d&rsquo;euros en 2023.
