Mais derri\u00e8re Labubu se cache toute une \u00e9conomie de consommation chinoise, qui fait d\u00e9sormais son entr\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chinamaxxing : pas ce qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y para\u00eet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis des mois, des hashtags tels que #verychinese, #chinamaxxing et \u00ab in my Chinese era \u00bb fleurissent sur TikTok. Les cr\u00e9ateurs occidentaux de la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z y voient tout ce qui leur manque, \u00e9crit Maarten Leyts (Trendwolves). Une tasse d\u2019eau chaude aux baies de goji, du gua sha au lever du soleil, des tongs \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur, un hotpot pour deux. Entre-temps, des trains \u00e0 grande vitesse qui entrent sans bruit dans Shenzhen, des drones qui livrent des nouilles chaudes pour deux dollars pay\u00e9s d\u2019un simple geste du poignet, des horizons n\u00e9ons au-dessus de Shanghai. La l\u00e9gende change d\u2019une vid\u00e9o \u00e0 l\u2019autre, mais va toujours dans le m\u00eame sens. Ils ont \u00e7a, nous non.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pourtant, la v\u00e9ritable le\u00e7on pour les marques ne r\u00e9side pas dans ce que les jeunes occidentaux projettent, mais dans ce que fait la v\u00e9ritable g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z chinoise. Ces 260 millions de personnes sont pratiquement \u00e0 l\u2019oppos\u00e9 du silence id\u00e9alis\u00e9 sur TikTok. Elles passent 5,46 heures par jour sur Internet mobile, font des achats impulsifs entre deux cours et veulent des \u00ab blind boxes \u00bb, des rouges \u00e0 l\u00e8vres personnalis\u00e9s et des r\u00e9ductions en direct. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>80 % ach\u00e8tent activement du Guochao, cette renaissance culturelle o\u00f9 tradition et pop hypermoderne se rejoignent. Le hanfu dans les rues de Hangzhou n\u2019est pas un costume, mais une d\u00e9claration en \u00e9dition limit\u00e9e. Lors de la Fashion Week de Shanghai SS26, des centaines de fans portaient leur cr\u00e9ateur chinois pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 de la t\u00eate aux pieds. Pas de Chanel, pas d\u2019Herm\u00e8s, mais Mark Gong, Oude Waag, Samuel Gu\u00ec Yang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ni copie, ni version bon march\u00e9 : du vrai design chinois<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Et c\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment pour cette raison que les marques chinoises s\u2019implantent d\u00e9sormais elles-m\u00eames en Europe. Non pas en tant que copies, ni en tant que marques bon march\u00e9, mais en tant qu\u2019architectes d\u2019une nouvelle logique de consommation. En 2025, Pop Mart a ouvert une boutique phare chez Selfridges avec des distributeurs automatiques Labubu distincts, dix-huit magasins en Europe, une croissance de 600 % rien qu\u2019au premier trimestre, une capitalisation boursi\u00e8re \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 celle de Hasbro, Mattel et Sanrio r\u00e9unis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RetailDetail a qualifi\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/general\/2025-dans-le-secteur-non-alimentaire-la-labuburisation-du-commerce-de-detail\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/general\/2025-dans-le-secteur-non-alimentaire-la-labuburisation-du-commerce-de-detail\/\">\u00e0 juste titre l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e 2025 dans le secteur non alimentaire de \u00ab labubusisation du retail \u00bb.<\/a> Mixue a ouvert un magasin phare \u00e0 Times Square, avec Paris et Londres comme prochaines \u00e9tapes logiques. Heytea, Chagee et Molly Tea d\u00e9ploient ce sc\u00e9nario avec un service th\u00e9\u00e2tral et des boissons faisant r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux l\u00e9gendes chinoises. Ce que Starbucks a fait avec un troisi\u00e8me lieu entre le travail et la maison, ils le font avec un troisi\u00e8me lieu entre le caf\u00e9 et le caf\u00e9-restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajoutez \u00e0 cela les plateformes. RedNote, le nom international de Xiaohongshu, a annonc\u00e9 ce mois-ci le lancement de Redshop, sa place de march\u00e9 transfrontali\u00e8re. 300 millions d\u2019utilisateurs actifs par mois, 83 % d\u00e9couvrent des produits via le contenu g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par les utilisateurs (UGC). Shein et Temu ont doubl\u00e9 leur budget marketing en France et au Royaume-Uni. TikTok Shop se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 son lancement en Belgique, aux Pays-Bas et en Pologne. JD.com ajoute Joybuy \u00e0 la liste. RetailDetail posait d\u00e9j\u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/general\/opinion-temu-shein-aliexpress-et-maintenant-joybuy-leurope-va-t-elle-enfin-se-reveiller\/\">la question \u00e0 haute voix en mars : sommes-nous enfin r\u00e9veill\u00e9s en Europe<\/a> ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La g\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z chinoise pr\u00e9dit l&rsquo;avenir<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les marques d\u2019ici, ce n\u2019est pas un simple exercice th\u00e9orique. Une ZEB belge ou une America Today n\u00e9erlandaise qui tentent de prot\u00e9ger leurs marges sur la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z devront bient\u00f4t faire face \u00e0 la fast-fashion chinoise de marques telles que BASEMENT FG, ELF SACK et Beerbro sur le Meir \u00e0 Anvers ou la Kalverstraat, distribu\u00e9es via RedNote. Une marque d\u2019accessoires anversoise comme Komono est d\u00e9j\u00e0 en concurrence avec la vitesse algorithmique \u00e0 laquelle Pop Mart \u00e9tend sa propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle. Celui qui ne s\u2019int\u00e9resse qu\u2019aux exportations chinoises passe \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des importations. Celui qui n\u2019a pas l\u2019oreille tendue vers Xiaohongshu, RedNote, Bilibili et Douyin est une marque sans syst\u00e8me nerveux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.retailtours.be\/wingzz\/\">C&rsquo;est pourquoi, en septembre, moi, Maarten Leyts, je pars avec l&rsquo;expert en retail Jorg Snoeck et un futuriste chinois pour un tour des tendances \u00e0 Shenzhen, Shanghai et Hangzhou avec un groupe de grands d\u00e9taillants.<\/a> Non pas pour admirer, mais pour \u00e9tudier. Car ce que la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z chinoise ach\u00e8te aujourd\u2019hui deviendra demain un facteur d\u00e9terminant pour la G\u00e9n\u00e9ration Z occidentale et l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de la distribution qui l\u2019entoure.
