Existe-t-il des alternatives ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le projet est abandonn\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet pilote annonc\u00e9 le mois dernier par Carrefour Belgique, qui pr\u00e9voyait <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/carrefour-belgique-teste-le-caddie-intelligent-dinstacart\/\">l&rsquo;utilisation de caddies Caper Cart dans deux magasins de Waterloo<\/a>, ne pourra pas voir le jour. Le test en cours de la cha\u00eene de supermarch\u00e9s britannique Morrisons \u00e0 Preston est \u00e9galement contraint d&rsquo;\u00eatre annul\u00e9. Le fournisseur Instacart met fin au projet : bien que les caddies Caper Cart pilot\u00e9s par l\u2019IA soient, selon l\u2019entreprise, un excellent produit, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 commerciale est que leur adoption par les d\u00e9taillants n\u2019a pas progress\u00e9 assez rapidement pour justifier des investissements continus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ces caddies intelligents constituent une variante du self-scanning : ils reconnaissent et p\u00e8sent automatiquement les articles, l\u2019\u00e9cran tactile tient \u00e0 jour la liste d\u2019achats et le paiement s\u2019effectue facilement \u00e0 une caisse en libre-service adapt\u00e9e. Cette technologie am\u00e9liore ainsi le confort d\u2019achat. De plus, ces caddies offrent un potentiel en mati\u00e8re de publicit\u00e9s personnalis\u00e9es, de recommandations de produits, de promotions et de <em>ludification<\/em>, ce qui devrait \u00e9galement augmenter le chiffre d\u2019affaires. Le Caper Cart est utilis\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis par une dizaine de d\u00e9taillants dans une centaine de villes, mais n\u2019a pas r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 percer en Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vente en perspective<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chez Morrison, l\u2019essai touchait de toute fa\u00e7on \u00e0 sa fin, tandis que chez Carrefour Belgique, il n\u2019avait pas encore commenc\u00e9. Le distributeur affirme \u00eatre \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019alternatives, mais la question est de savoir si celles-ci existent r\u00e9ellement. Le chariot intelligent le plus connu sur le march\u00e9 est le Dash Cart <strong>d\u2019Amazon<\/strong>. En Belgique, <strong>Colruyt<\/strong> a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en interne un \u00ab Smart Cart \u00bb similaire<a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/colruyt-deploie-son-chariot-intelligent-dans-deux-magasins-supplementaires\/\">, d\u00e9j\u00e0 test\u00e9 dans des magasins \u00e0 Halle, Kessel-Lo et Waterloo<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La d\u00e9cision d\u2019Instacart pourrait \u00eatre li\u00e9e \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/instacart-envisage-de-se-vendre-a-doordash-ou-a-uber\/\">une \u00e9ventuelle vente<\/a> de l\u2019entreprise qui serait en cours de n\u00e9gociation.
