La croissance sous-jacente est en grande partie attribuable aux hausses de prix, car les volumes vendus sont en baisse.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Un 4\u00e8me trimestre difficile<\/h2>\n<p>Au quatri\u00e8me trimestre Unilever a d\u00e9gag\u00e9 un chiffre d\u2019affaires de 13 milliards d\u2019euros, alors que les analystes tablaient sur 13,166 milliards d\u2019euros. La croissance sous-jacente est elle aussi plus faible qu\u2019attendu : +2,2% au lieu des +2,8% escompt\u00e9s. Pour r\u00e9aliser cette croissance Unilever a d\u00fb augmenter ses prix\u00a0 de 2,6%, car les volumes vendus ont recul\u00e9 de 0,4%. C\u2019est qui ressort des chiffres publi\u00e9s ce matin\u00a0 par le groupe.<\/p>\n<p>\nAinsi le groupe anglo-n\u00e9erlandais \u2013 propri\u00e9taires des marques Dove, Rexona, Cif et Knorr, entre autres \u2013 est en recul par rapport au troisi\u00e8me trimestre, durant lequel la croissance du chiffre d\u2019affaires s\u2019\u00e9tait \u00e9tablie \u00e0 3,2% (0,3 point de pourcentage de plus par rapport au consensus), et ce malgr\u00e9 \u00ab un contexte \u00e9conomique difficile \u00bb. La division \u2018Refreshments\u2019 (notamment les glaces Magnum) en particulier a vu fondre ses volumes de pas moins de 3,2%.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u00ab Nous avons r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une\u00a0 bonne performance, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unilever.com\/Images\/ir-q4-2016-highlights_tcm244-497534_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">malgr\u00e9 de s\u00e9rieux probl\u00e8mes \u00e9conomiques<\/a>, surtout en Inde et au Br\u00e9sil, nos deux plus grands march\u00e9s \u00bb, explique le CEO Paul Polman dans un communiqu\u00e9. Pourtant en Europe aussi le groupe fait face \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s : les volumes vendus y ont baiss\u00e9 de 2,5% et les augmentations de prix n\u2019ont pu compenser ce recul.<\/p>\n<h2>\nCA annuel en baisse de 1%<\/h2>\n<p>Sur l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2016 Unilever a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un chiffre d\u2019affaires de 52,7 milliards d\u2019euros, soit une baisse de 1% par rapport \u00e0 2015. Le r\u00e9sultat op\u00e9rationnel a grimp\u00e9 de 3,8% \u00e0 7,8 milliards d\u2019euros, une croissance sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du march\u00e9, selon Unilever. La majeure partie de cette croissance est attribuable aux augmentations de prix (+2,8%). Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net sur l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019ann\u00e9e s\u2019est \u00e9tabli \u00e0 5,5 milliards d\u2019euros, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une hausse de 5,5%.<\/p>\n<p>\n\u00ab Les conditions de march\u00e9 difficiles qui ont rendu la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e particuli\u00e8rement difficile, persisteront probablement durant la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 de 2017.
