Comment les retailers et les fabricants doivent-ils r\u00e9agir ?<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Th\u00e8ses pertinentes<\/h2>\n<p>Comment \u00e0 l\u2019avenir les consommateurs ach\u00e8teront-ils leur nourriture ? Online ou dans un magasin ? Dans des magasins de grand ou de petit format ? A emporter ou \u00e0 consommer sur place ? En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 ces questions et bien d\u2019autres <strong>IGD<\/strong> et <strong>The Consumer Goods Forum <\/strong>viennent de publier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.igd.com\/research\/retail\/cgf-evolution-of-the-physical-store\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">un rapport passionnant sur l\u2019avenir du magasin alimentaire physique<\/a>. Nous distillons sept th\u00e8ses pertinentes de ce rapport.<\/p>\n<h2>\n1. Survie du magasin physique<\/h2>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la croissance du e-commerce les shoppers auront toujours diverses raisons de se rendre dans des magasins physiques : pour des courses suppl\u00e9mentaires, des achats de d\u00e9pannage ou tout simplement parce qu\u2019ils aiment faire leurs emplettes. Ils pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent voir, sentir et toucher les produits et le fait de pouvoir les emporter imm\u00e9diatement leur apporte une grande satisfaction. Pour les retailers il importe donc d\u2019accorder suffisamment d\u2019attention aux \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e9motionnels et d\u2019offrir une exp\u00e9rience client unique.<\/p>\n<h2>\n2. Le supermarch\u00e9 reprend un r\u00f4le social<\/h2>\n<p>Les retailers devront plus que jamais se focaliser sur le shopper et satisfaire aux besoins individuels et locaux, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation pouss\u00e9e de donn\u00e9es. Suite \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution d\u00e9mographique, la fonction sociale du magasin gagnera en importance : aide et attention aux shoppers plus \u00e2g\u00e9s, jouer un r\u00f4le dans la communaut\u00e9, informer et conseiller \u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>3. Moins de promotions<\/h2>\n<p>En outre les retailers vont r\u00e9duire le nombre et la fr\u00e9quence des promotions, pr\u00e9dit IGD. Aujourd\u2019hui d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u2019impact des promotions s\u2019amenuise, suite \u00e0 la plus grande transparence des prix online et la multiplication des formules d\u2019abonnement dans l\u2019e-commerce. Il importe donc de pratiquer un niveau de prix plus bas et stable. Une \u00e9tude au Royaume-Uni r\u00e9v\u00e8le que 63% des shopppers pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent\u00a0 une politique de prix \u2018everyday low price\u2019. D\u2019autre part le diminution du nombre de promotions am\u00e8nera une plus grande efficacit\u00e9 de la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement.<\/p>\n<h2>\n4. Davantage de service<\/h2>\n<p>Le service est appel\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir le principal facteur distinctif pour les retailers. Si les shoppers passent leurs commandes en vrac online, il leur restera davantage de temps \u00e0 consacrer aux cat\u00e9gories restantes en magasin. Le personnel devra inspirer et informer le client. IGD plaide \u00e9galement pour des \u00e9v\u00e9nements en accord avec les traditions locales et l\u2019\u00e9chelle des valeurs des shoppers locaux.<\/p>\n<h2>\n5. Moins de magasins et de format plus petit<\/h2>\n<p>Vu la mont\u00e9e du e-commerce, les retailers auront besoin de moins de magasins et de format plus petits. Les magasins auront moins de stock \u00e0 entreposer. Une strat\u00e9gie omni-canal n\u00e9cessite des investissements plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s dans divers canaux et r\u00e9duit donc les moyens d\u2019investir dans l\u2019immobilier. En revanche les magasins existants seront transform\u00e9s. Garder ouverts des magasins d\u00e9ficitaires n\u2019est plus justifiable.<\/p>\n<h2>\n6. Opportunit\u00e9s pour les sp\u00e9cialistes<\/h2>\n<p>IGD s\u2019attend \u00e0 une diminution du nombre de retailers globaux, ce qui du coup offre des possibilit\u00e9s aux retailers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. Les grands retailers se focaliseront de plus en plus sur les co\u00fbts et la rentabilit\u00e9, ce qui les am\u00e8nera sans doute \u00e0 se concentrer sur les march\u00e9s o\u00f9 ils occupent une place de leader et \u00e0 se retirer ailleurs. Au niveau local la concurrence pourrait s\u2019intensifier, suite \u00e0 l\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019acteurs de niche et de sp\u00e9cialistes ax\u00e9s sur des besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des shoppers. Ce qui signifie donc qu\u2019il y aura davantage de choix pour les consommateurs et une plus grande fragmentation pour les fournisseurs.<\/p>\n<h2>\n7. Les robots prennent le dessus<\/h2>\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la robotisation, l\u2019automatisation et l\u2019intelligence artificielle le supermarch\u00e9 sera plus efficace. Il importera donc de trouver le juste \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 entre l\u2019automatisation et l\u2019interaction humaine. La robotisation permet d\u2019ex\u00e9cuter mieux et plus efficacement certaines t\u00e2ches routini\u00e8res en magasin, afin que le personnel puisse davantage se consacrer au service et \u00e0 l\u2019interaction envers la client\u00e8le.<\/p>\n<h2>\nQuelques recommandations<\/h2>\n<p>Le rapport formule quelques recommandations aux retailers et aux fournisseurs dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.igd.com\/Portals\/0\/Downloads\/Infographics\/Infographic_Evolution-of-the-physical-store.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ce montage informatif<\/a>. A l\u2019avenir il est essentiel d\u2019investir dans une meilleure compr\u00e9hension du shopper, dans de meilleures donn\u00e9es et de meilleurs collaborateurs. La cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement se doit d\u2019\u00eatre plus efficace. Les concepts de magasins doivent \u00eatre flexibles et adapter sans cesse leur assortiment. Au niveau des clients il est recommandable d\u2019\u00e9liminer les obstacles, d\u2019\u00e9viter tout risque de friction\u00a0 et d\u2019offrir une exp\u00e9rience client parfaite. Tout le processus de paiement au check-out par exemple est \u00e0 bannir.
