Mais tous ces efforts n\u2019ont pas port\u00e9 leurs fruits : tous les clients Delhaize n\u2019ont pas n\u00e9cessairement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 cette nouvelle strat\u00e9gie, alors que d\u2019autres consommateurs ont continu\u00e9 \u00e0 percevoir l\u2019enseigne comme \u00e9tant cher.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>Retour \u00e0 \u00ab l\u2019obsession absolue \u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>A pr\u00e9sent la cha\u00eene a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de changer son fusil d\u2019\u00e9paule et remet l\u2019aspect qualitatif sur le devant de la sc\u00e8ne, m\u00eame si celui-ci n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 perdu de vue, ajoute le CEO. M\u00eame apr\u00e8s l\u2019annonce\u00a0 des offensives sur les prix, l\u2019ancien CEO Michel Eeckhout qualifiait la qualit\u00e9 \u00ab <strong>d\u2019obsession absolue<\/strong> \u00bb et indiquait que \u00ab <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"nl\/en-images\/item\/13211-%E2%80%9Ctout-changement-doit-se-faire-rapidement%E2%80%9D-dixit-michel-eeckhout-ceo-delhaize\" rel=\"noopener\">Delhaize ne ferait aucune concession sur la qualit\u00e9 en faveur du prix. Jamais <\/a>\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>A pr\u00e9sent le nouveau CEO inverse les priorit\u00e9s : dor\u00e9navant la qualit\u00e9 prime sur les prix, m\u00eame si bien entendu <strong>le niveau de prix reste extr\u00eamement important<\/strong>. Le distributeur ne revendique plus le plus bas prix, mais veillera \u00e0 rester comp\u00e9titifs pour des produits comparables, apprend-on dans le journal De Tijd.<\/p>\n<p>Dirk Van den Berghe confirme ainsi sa th\u00e9orie selon laquelle<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"fr\/en-images\/item\/14391-delhaize-pr%C3%B4ne-la-qualit%C3%A9-et-le-prix-%E2%80%9Cou\/ou-c%E2%80%99est-du-pass%C3%A9%E2%80%9D\" rel=\"noopener\"> il n\u2019est plus question aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0 de\u00a0 privil\u00e9gier ou la qualit\u00e9 ou le prix<\/a>. Pour r\u00e9ussir un retailer doit <strong>concilier les deux<\/strong>, comme il le confiait cet \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 retaildetail lors d\u2019une interview parue sur ce site.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>Fin de la guerre des prix<\/h2>\n<p>Pour autant cette d\u00e9marche n\u2019est pas si surprenante que cela,\u00a0 \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 m\u00eame <strong>les hard discounters ont tendance\u00a0 \u00e0 se tourner vers des marques de qualit\u00e9<\/strong>, comme on a pu le constater\u00a0 chez Aldi et Lidl. M\u00eame constat chez Carrefour qui\u00a0 indiquait qu\u2019 \u00ab \u00eatre le meilleur march\u00e9 n\u2019\u00e9tait pas un must \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colruyt<\/strong> <strong>reste donc seul en course en tant que champion des prix<\/strong>, \u00e0 moins que Red Market, la filiale discount de Delhaize, ne gagne du terrain. La guerre des prix entre les supermarch\u00e9s belges semble donc \u00eatre termin\u00e9e, avant m\u00eame qu\u2019elle n\u2019ait atteint son paroxysme.<\/p>\n<p>Dommage pour les consommateurs, mais pour les retailers il s\u2019agit d\u2019un choix logique. Aux Pays-Bas, o\u00f9 une guerre des prix acharn\u00e9e a fait rage pendant des ann\u00e9es, on apprend que sur dix ans pr\u00e8s d\u2019un quart des supermarch\u00e9s ont ferm\u00e9 leurs portes.
