Le nouveau CEO, qui aura pour mission de ramener les comptes dans le vert, pr\u00e9voit\u00a0 un nouveau plan strat\u00e9gique pour ce trimestre.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>R\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 la collaboration avec Carrefour<\/h2>\n<p>Les fondateurs Eric et John Mestdagh ont laiss\u00e9 la direction op\u00e9rationnelle quotidienne \u00e0 Beuscart, afin de se consacrer davantage aux d\u00e9cisions strat\u00e9giques. Les grandes questions qui se posent sont les suivantes : comment le groupe Mestdagh peut-il s\u2019adapter \u00e0 l\u2019environnement macro\u00e9conomique tr\u00e8s changeant d\u2019une part et quel est l\u2019avenir de la collaboration avec Carrefour d\u2019autre part.<\/p>\n<p>\nIl n\u2019est pas encore certain que les supermarch\u00e9s Mestdagh continuent d\u2019op\u00e9rer sous l\u2019\u00e9tendard Carrefour, confient les fr\u00e8res Mestdagh au journal l\u2019Echo. Lorsque le contrat avec Carrefour arrivera \u00e0 \u00e9ch\u00e9ance fin 2020, il s\u2019agira de d\u00e9terminer comment Mestdagh pourra s\u2019inscrire dans la strat\u00e9gie de Carrefour. Apr\u00e8s une collaboration de vingt ans ce serait une rupture p\u00e9nible, \u00ab mais pour se marier il faut \u00eatre deux \u00bb. \u00ab C\u2019est pourquoi nous allons \u00e9tudier la position de Carrefour et voir dans quelle mesure notre projet local peut s\u2019inscrire dans le projet global de Carrefour \u00bb, expliquent-ils.<\/p>\n<h2>\nMestdagh \u00ab n\u2019est pas aux urgences, mais n\u2019est pas en tr\u00e8s bonne sant\u00e9 \u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>Avant de rejoindre Mestdagh, Beuscart dirigeait les magasins Press Shop et Relay, o\u00f9 il a acquis une riche exp\u00e9rience en mati\u00e8re de technologie et de circuits courts. Chez Mestdagh il souhaite transposer cette connaissance en non-food vers le secteur food. Dans un premier temps le groupe continuera de se concentrer sur le local et l\u2019exp\u00e9rience client, plut\u00f4t que sur l\u2019expansion g\u00e9ographique. C\u2019est pourquoi le groupe se base sur sa part de march\u00e9 au niveau local et non pas au niveau national et consid\u00e8re comme son ADN de faire vivre au client \u00ab une vraie exp\u00e9rience olfactive, gustative et visuelle. \u00bb G\u00e9ographiquement Charleroi reste le c\u0153ur historique de l\u2019empire Mestdagh. Ensuite le Brabant et Li\u00e8ge s\u2019y sont ajout\u00e9s et aujourd\u2019hui le groupe commence \u00e0 avoir une pr\u00e9sence significative \u00e0 Bruxelles.<\/p>\n<p>\nPourtant l\u2019entreprise ne se porte pas tr\u00e8s bien : en 2017 aussi Mestdagh \u00e9tait en perte. \u00ab Nous ne sommes pas aux urgences, mais Mestdagh n\u2019est pas en tr\u00e8s bonne sant\u00e9 \u00bb, admet Eric Mestdagh. En 2017 le chiffre d\u2019affaires des 83 magasins est rest\u00e9 stable aux alentours de 700 millions d\u2019euros.<\/p>\n<h2>\nL\u2019assortiment et les valeurs cl\u00e9s seront revus<\/h2>\n<p>D\u2019ici la fin de ce trimestre Beuscart pr\u00e9voit un plan de transformation strat\u00e9gique sur une dur\u00e9e de deux \u00e0 trois ans afin de remettre l\u2019entreprise sur les rails. L\u2019assortiment sera \u00e9galement revu, notamment avec un focus sur le service traiteur et l\u2019\u00e9largissement de l\u2019offre bio. Beuscart : \u00ab Mestdagh s\u2019est construit autour de la boucherie, mais en Belgique la consommation de viande d\u00e9cline de 5% par an. Par contre il y a une \u00e9volution sur les plats pr\u00e9par\u00e9s. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\nUne chose est s\u00fbre, apr\u00e8s 118 d\u2019existence l\u2019entreprise familiale n\u2019est pas pr\u00eate \u00e0 jeter l\u2019\u00e9ponge. Au cours de son histoire Mestdagh a connu d\u2019importants changements et en conna\u00eetra d\u2019autres, estime le nouvel administrateur d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9.
