Les moyens mis en \u0153uvre pour atteindre cet objectif sont bien connus : l\u2019assortiment, prix\/promo, pr\u00e9sentation, communication \u2026 La condition de base : comprendre le comportement d\u2019achat du shopper.<\/p>\n<h2>\n2. Les donn\u00e9es avant tout<\/h2>\n<p>Comment en tant que fabricant ou retailer rester au courant en temps r\u00e9el des multiples changements de prix et d\u2019assortiment chez vos coll\u00e8gue et concurrents, en cette \u00e9poque de fixation de prix locale et de promotions choc non annonc\u00e9es ? C\u2019est le terrain de <strong>Daltix<\/strong>, qui entend devenir le <strong>Google<\/strong> de l\u2019univers du retail, nous explique le CEO Jonas Deprez. L\u2019entreprise collecte et traite quotidiennement\u00a0 les donn\u00e9es online disponibles de plus de 50 retailers et les traduit en dashboards pratiques. La base de la croissance<\/h2>\n<p>Le fil rouge dans toutes ces pr\u00e9sentations : pour assurer la croissance dans un march\u00e9 satur\u00e9 avec une population stable et une pression accrue des prix et des promotions, il s\u2019agira de r\u00e9pondre habilement aux besoins des shoppers, de g\u00e9rer judicieusement les actions, d\u2019aborder de nouveaux moments de consommation, de pr\u00e9voir les bons formats, de bien organiser la mise en rayon. Le trade marketing n\u2019est pas seulement une question de strat\u00e9gie, mais \u00e9galement de pragmatisme. Parfois c\u2019est tr\u00e8s simple : \u00ab Rien qu\u2019en \u00e9tant pr\u00e9sent dans les magasins durant une p\u00e9riode d\u2019essai, les ventes ont progress\u00e9 \u00bb, affirme Katrin Sano de <strong>McCain Foods<\/strong>. \u00ab Si le rayon chocolat est agenc\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re lisible, les d\u00e9penses moyennes augmenteront \u00bb, indique Yannick Engelen de <strong>Mondelez<\/strong>. \u00ab Investissez \u00e9galement\u00a0 dans le parcours client avant et apr\u00e8s la visite en magasin \u00bb, soulignent Bart Pelgrims et Dieter Van Duynslager de <strong>Coca-Cola European Partners<\/strong>. \u00ab Nous d\u00e9pensons 40% de notre budget instore. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h2>\n4. Pour petits et grands<\/h2>\n<p>De grands acteurs comme Coca-Cola ou Mondelez disposent de solides \u00e9quipes de shopper marketing et de category management, alors que chez McCain Foods il s\u2019agit litt\u00e9ralement d\u2019un \u2018one woman show\u2019, mais m\u00eame avec de modestes budgets on peut obtenir de bons r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 condition de faire des choix judicieux. Il importe avant tout qu\u2019en interne tout le monde soit sur la m\u00eame longueur d\u2019onde et que le trade marketing puisse \u00e9tablir un \u2018pont\u2019 entre les d\u00e9partements vente et marketing. Car le mur de Berlin entre ces deux d\u00e9partements doit tomber. Les key account managers et les marketing managers ont eux aussi besoin de connaissances en mati\u00e8re de shopper marketing. Le trade marketing a de plus en plus de poids dans le processus d\u00e9cisionnel et n\u00e9cessite un dialogue direct avec les partenaires-retailers. L\u2019ancien mod\u00e8le du \u2018single point of contact\u2019 ne doit-il pas \u00eatre revu ?<\/p>\n<h2>\n5. Pas seulement pour le secteur FMCG<\/h2>\n<p>Les connaissances acquises dans l\u2019univers food, peuvent \u00e9galement s\u2019appliquer \u00e0 l\u2019univers non-food. Une approche ax\u00e9e sur le cat\u00e9gory management peut aussi avoir son importance dans le secteur du DIY ou de l\u2019\u00e9lectronique, comme l\u2019a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 Dennis van Ravenstijn au travers de l\u2019exemple de <strong>Philips<\/strong> Hue. La nouvelle cat\u00e9gorie de produits d\u2019\u00e9clairage intelligents et connect\u00e9s implique un parcours client totalement diff\u00e9rent que pour une simple ampoule \u00e9conomique et n\u00e9cessite donc un juste \u00e9quilibre entre une information claire et une exp\u00e9rience inspirante autour de la marque, et ce au travers de tous les points de contact. Par ailleurs l\u2019approche diff\u00e8re fondamentalement selon le canal : <strong>MediaMarkt <\/strong>n\u2019est pas un <strong>Brico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>\n6. Du point de vue des retailers<\/h2>\n<p>Effectivement, l\u2019enseigne de bricolage <strong>Gamma<\/strong> a ses priorit\u00e9s. Eviter le stress li\u00e9 au choix, faciliter la navigation, assister les clients \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019un guide DIY \u2013 car pour certains le bricolage n\u2019est pas un hobby, mais plut\u00f4t une corv\u00e9e. En collaboration avec les fournisseurs, Gamma a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9, par exemple, une v\u00e9ritable \u2018avenue de rev\u00eatements de sol\u2019 qui montre de mani\u00e8re claire les diff\u00e9rentes options possibles : vinyle, lamin\u00e9, carrelage \u2026 L\u2019accent se situe sur l\u2019inspiration, car dans cette cat\u00e9gorie le shopper s\u2019attend \u00e0 autre chose qu\u2019un simple stock en magasin. Il a fallu n\u00e9anmoins convaincre les fournisseurs d\u2019adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 cette approche, admet Kristin Van Limbergen. Non pas que le magasin doive se transformer un showroom, mais l\u2019exp\u00e9rience v\u00e9cue en magasin est essentielle.<\/p>\n<h2>\n7. Vive le mod\u00e8le \u00e0 cinq \u00e9tapes<\/h2>\n<p>Ce ne peut \u00eatre un hasard. Chez Mondelez ils op\u00e8rent selon cinq \u2018s\u2019 : see, scan, spot, show interest, select. Un mod\u00e8le facile \u00e0 retenir afin d\u2019augmenter la conversion en rayon. Coca-Cola pour sa part adopte le mod\u00e8le suivant : d\u2019abord d\u00e9finir les opportunit\u00e9s, puis d\u00e9terminer la strat\u00e9gie, ensuite examiner les possibilit\u00e9s concr\u00e8tes, ensuite l\u2019ex\u00e9cution et enfin mesurer et \u00e9valuer. Gamma de son c\u00f4t\u00e9 distingue cinq r\u00f4les que peut jouer une cat\u00e9gorie. D\u2019autres mod\u00e8les en cinq \u00e9tapes \u00e0 proposer ?<\/p>\n<h2>\n8. L\u2019ex\u00e9cution est la cl\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>L\u00e0 aussi tous les orateurs sont unanimes. Vous aurez beau avoir un plan fantastique, un beau budget, un chouette visuel, un display attrayant \u2026, si vous ratez le rendez-vous crucial au moment de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 (en magasin ou sur le webshop), alors tout le reste aura \u00e9t\u00e9 vain. A ce titre, voici encore un conseil en or de Mondelez : chacun d\u2019entre vous a certainement d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 victime d\u2019un responsable de rayon qui d\u00e9place votre joli display \u00e0 un endroit moins strat\u00e9gique du magasin. Pour \u00e9viter ce type de situation, il suffit d\u2019alourdir votre display autant que possible.
