Aux Etats-Unis le groupe cherche \u00e9galement \u00e0 assurer sa croissance par le biais d\u2019acquisitions.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>\nRattraper le retard<\/h2>\n<p>Ce mardi Ahold Delhaize a re\u00e7u des journalistes et des analystes financiers \u00e0 New York afin de commenter sa nouvelle strat\u00e9gie. L\u2019e-commerce joue un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans les ambitions de croissance du groupe fusionn\u00e9 : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/ahold-delhaize-va-doubler-son-chiffre-daffaires-en-ligne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">d\u2019ici 2021 le chiffre d\u2019affaires online devrait doubler<\/a>. Afin d\u2019atteindre cet objectif ambitieux, Ahold Delhaize investira notamment dans la robotisation, l\u2019analyse de donn\u00e9es et dans de\u00a0 petits entrep\u00f4ts automatis\u00e9s capables d\u2019assurer des livraisons rapides depuis les points de vente. En outre le groupe pr\u00e9voit 600 points de retrait suppl\u00e9mentaires aux Etats-Unis au cours de l\u2019an prochain.<\/p>\n<p>\nCes investissements s\u2019imposent pour faire face \u00e0 <strong>Amazon<\/strong>, <strong>Walmart <\/strong>et <strong>Kroger<\/strong>, car le groupe a un retard \u00e0 rattraper dans le domaine du e-commerce. Que l\u2019e-commerce en soi ne soit pas rentable,\u00a0 ne pose pas probl\u00e8me au CEO pour l\u2019instant. Cette activit\u00e9 ne peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9e s\u00e9par\u00e9ment du reste, confie-t-il au journal De Tijd. Les webshops renforcent les supermarch\u00e9s et si vous n\u2019investissez pas dans l\u2019e-commerce, vous perdrez des clients qui partiront \u00e0 la concurrence. En outre l\u2019e-commerce peut bel et bien \u00eatre rentable dans des villes \u00e0 population dense.\u00a0 Comme Muller l\u2019a expliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la CNBC, l\u2019avenir du e-commerce r\u00e9side dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/video\/2018\/11\/13\/ahold-delhaize-ceo-on-the-future-of-grocery-shopping.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">le m\u00e9lange de diff\u00e9rents mod\u00e8les logistiques <\/a>: same day delivery, next day delivery et click &amp; collect &#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>\nConsolidation aux Etats-Unis<\/h2>\n<p>En Europe aussi le groupe passe \u00e0 la vitesse sup\u00e9rieure dans le domaine online : le centre de distribution de <strong>bol.com <\/strong>s\u2019agrandit, <strong>Albert Heijn <\/strong>teste une serrure intelligente permettant de livrer les courses lorsque le client n\u2019est pas chez lui, et en Belgique <strong>Delhaize<\/strong> et bol.com vont collaborer plus \u00e9troitement. Outre l\u2019online, Ahold Delhaize entend \u00e9galement assurer sa croissance\u00a0 gr\u00e2ce aux magasins physiques. Ainsi <strong>Stop &amp; Shop<\/strong>, la plus grande cha\u00eene am\u00e9ricaine du groupe, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera d\u2019un profond repositionnement, avec une r\u00e9novation de tous les magasins. Toujours aux Etats-Unis, le groupe souhaite jouer un r\u00f4le moteur dans la consolidation de secteur du retail alimentaire. Bon nombre de petits et grands commerces alimentaires sont actuellement en difficult\u00e9 et Ahold Delhaize dispose de moyens financiers. Les reprises et fusions font donc \u00e9galement partie du plan de bataille.<\/p>\n<p>\nMuller estime toutefois qu\u2019il n\u2019est pas indiqu\u00e9 d\u2019assainir le nombre de marques de magasins aux Etats-Unis, o\u00f9 le groupe compte actuellement cinq enseignes. Le retail alimentaire est local, selon le CEO : \u00ab C\u2019est une erreur de penser que nous pourrions \u00e9pargner une fortune. Nos marques locales sont proches de leur communaut\u00e9. Elles comprennent les besoins locaux des gens.
