L\u2019app\u00e9tit du fondateur Hiroshi Mikitani est pourtant loin d\u2019\u00eatre assouvi\u00a0: il souhaite \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent conqu\u00e9rir l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Am\u00e9rique afin de devenir un v\u00e9ritable acteur mondial.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Croissance et diversification<\/h2>\n<p>Rakuten a connu une croissance remarquable\u00a0: 22 ans apr\u00e8s sa cr\u00e9ation, l\u2019entreprise est devenue un v\u00e9ritable empire dont la valeur boursi\u00e8re s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 8,5\u00a0milliards d\u2019euros, employant plus de 14\u00a0000\u00a0personnes dans le monde. \u00c0 l\u2019origine, l\u2019entreprise commercialisait un large \u00e9ventail de produits de retailers via une plate-forme en ligne. Une s\u00e9rie de reprises cibl\u00e9es au Japon et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger lui ont permis d\u2019\u00e9tendre progressivement ses activit\u00e9s. Actuellement, l\u2019e-commerce ne repr\u00e9sente que l\u2019un des septante services propos\u00e9s par l\u2019entreprise\u00a0: celle-ci dispose aujourd\u2019hui de sa propre banque, d\u2019une app de paiement mobile et d\u2019un service de streaming.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le <a href=\"fd.nl\/achtergrond\/1288543\/japans-rakuten-wil-per-se-slagen-in-europa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">contrat de sponsoring du club de football FC Barcelone<\/a> en dit long sur les ambitions de Rakuten\u00a0: depuis cette ann\u00e9e, le nom de l\u2019entreprise s\u2019affiche sur les maillots de l\u2019un des clubs les plus populaires au monde. La transaction repr\u00e9sente un montant de 200\u00a0millions d\u2019euros sur une p\u00e9riode de quatre ans\u00a0: la preuve que Mikitani est bien d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 hisser Rakuten au rang de marque mondiale.
