Au bout du compte, le shopper prend sa d\u00e9cision finale au moment de l\u2019achat.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quelle est la pertinence d\u2019un congr\u00e8s sur le trade &amp; shopper marketing en 2019\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Luc Desmedt\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai envie de dire que le trade &amp; shopper marketing est plus pertinent que jamais\u00a0! Nous avons en effet affaire \u00e0 des parcours client complexes, qui requi\u00e8rent d\u2019informer et d\u2019influencer le client aux diff\u00e9rents <em>touchpoints<\/em>. Et quoi qu\u2019on en dise, le principal point de contact le long de ce parcours est et reste le point de vente, physique ou num\u00e9rique. Un faux-pas \u00e0 ce niveau-l\u00e0 suffit \u00e0 an\u00e9antir tous les efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s en amont. C\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la t\u00e2che du trade &amp; shopper marketing de veiller \u00e0 ce que toutes les variables importantes, dont l\u2019assortiment, soient align\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re optimale au moment de l\u2019achat sur base d\u2019une analyse minutieuse et de <em>shopper insights<\/em> pertinents.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u2019est bien beau en th\u00e9orie, mais comment cela se passe-t-il concr\u00e8tement\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce congr\u00e8s est l\u2019occasion de dresser un \u00e9tat des lieux du trade &amp; shopper marketing, aussi bien du point de vue des fournisseurs que des retailers. Les r\u00e9sultats de cette enqu\u00eate seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s lors du congr\u00e8s. Je peux d\u00e9j\u00e0 vous dire qu\u2019elle confirme que tant les fournisseurs que les retailers reconnaissent bel et bien l\u2019importance du trade &amp; shopper marketing, m\u00eame s\u2019il subsiste de nombreuses difficult\u00e9s en termes de mise en \u0153uvre. Comme on pouvait s\u2019y attendre, les retailers et les fournisseurs \u00e9mettent des r\u00e9serves quant \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont l\u2019autre partie participe au dialogue.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Maximiser le sell-out<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Quelle est au fond la diff\u00e9rence entre \u2018trade marketing\u2019 et \u2018shopper marketing\u2019\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Pour moi, ce sont des variations sur un m\u00eame th\u00e8me. On pourrait encore y ajouter le <em>category management<\/em> et d\u2019autres appellations. La d\u00e9nomination choisie refl\u00e8te en partie le point de vue adopt\u00e9. En fin de compte, le d\u00e9fi consiste pour les retailers et les fournisseurs \u00e0 conjuguer leur expertise et leurs connaissances afin de d\u00e9velopper une strat\u00e9gie et des plans de cat\u00e9gorie adapt\u00e9s, et ainsi de maximiser le <em>sell-out<\/em>.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ne serait-il pas plus simple de regrouper toutes les activit\u00e9s marketing sous un d\u00e9nominateur commun\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Ce serait vraiment trop simpliste\u00a0! Le trade &amp; shopper marketing est une branche sp\u00e9cifique de cette discipline, avec ses propres r\u00e8gles et comp\u00e9tences. Les bons trade ou shopper marketeers allient les qualifications du marketing traditionnel avec une grande affinit\u00e9 pour le retail. Un trade ou shopper marketeer prend en outre toujours la cat\u00e9gorie comme point de d\u00e9part\u00a0; ce n\u2019est qu\u2019apr\u00e8s qu\u2019il analyse la place de la marque au sein de la cat\u00e9gorie.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Nouvelles \u00e9volutions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Quelles seront les th\u00e9matiques abord\u00e9es lors du Trade &amp; Shopper Marketing Congress\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Nous nous int\u00e9resserons \u00e0 deux \u00e9volutions qui sont appel\u00e9es \u00e0 gagner en importance dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. La premi\u00e8re est l\u2019e-commerce. Les principes du <em>category management<\/em> sont tout autant valables en ligne que dans les magasins physiques, mais l\u2019ex\u00e9cution pratique semble \u00eatre une gageure pour les retailers et les fabricants. L\u2019expert Klaas Verbeke de Bake&amp;Co partagera ses points de vue et conseils afin de nous aider \u00e0 y voir plus clair.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>C\u2019est effectivement une \u00e9volution importante.
