N\u00e9anmoins il faut serrer les dents, estime la CEO Marleen Vaesen, car la digitalisation est n\u00e9cessaire et portera ses fruits.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>\nB\u00e9n\u00e9fice brut en baisse de 33%<\/h2>\n<p>En 2018 le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice brut a chut\u00e9 de 33%, et ce alors que l\u2019ann\u00e9e auparavant il avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 recul\u00e9 de 14%. En cause ? Les d\u00e9penses importantes de l\u2019entreprise principalement dans le cadre de la digitalisation. Bien que l\u2019an dernier le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/mode\/van-de-velde-parvient-%C3%A0-limiter-la-baisse-de-son-chiffre-d%E2%80%99affaires\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chiffre d\u2019affaires ait \u00e9galement recul\u00e9 de 1,8% \u00e0 205,2 millions d\u2019euros<\/a>, les analystes per\u00e7oivent n\u00e9anmoins de timides signes de redressement \u2013 surtout au deuxi\u00e8me semestre.<\/p>\n<p>\nPour l\u2019instant le pilule est am\u00e8re, admet Marleen Vaesen, ex dirigeante chez <strong>Greenyard Foods <\/strong>et CEO de Van de Velde depuis d\u00e9cembre, mais \u00e0 terme ces investissements porteront leurs fruits, souligne-telle : \u00ab Nous avons investi pour avancer dans la digitalisation et pour poser les bases d\u2019une future croissance. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\nUn mouvement de rattrapage s\u2019imposait en effet, raison pour laquelle l\u2019entreprise a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019investir dans le marketing online, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/mode\/van-de-velde-met-en-garde-contre-un-effondrement-des-b%C3%A9n%C3%A9fices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">une meilleure infrastructure informatique et une nouvelle plateforme d\u2019e-commerce<\/a>. Pour ce faire le pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur de Vaesen, Erwin Van Laethem, faisait appel \u00e0 d\u2019on\u00e9reux consultants, avec pour cons\u00e9quence une hausse des frais de personnel de 16%, au grand m\u00e9contentement du propri\u00e9taire familiale Herman Van de Velde, ce qui finalement a entra\u00een\u00e9 la d\u00e9mission de Van Laethem.<\/p>\n<h2>\nAccord avec le fisc<\/h2>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e les co\u00fbts resteront \u00e9lev\u00e9s, car divers projets sont encore en cours, avoue Vaesen. Toutefois la nouvelle CEO tente d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 de r\u00e9duire de futurs co\u00fbts, notamment en renon\u00e7ant aux homeparties lanc\u00e9s r\u00e9cemment par Van de Velde en Allemagne. Les frais de cessation ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pris en compte l\u2019an dernier, tout comme les d\u00e9pr\u00e9ciations sur les fournisseurs dans lesquels le groupe a pris une participation, notamment <strong>Noyon<\/strong>, un important fabricant de dentelles de Calais, qui \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent semble \u00eatre\u00a0 d\u00e9ficitaire.<\/p>\n<p>\nUne note positive toutefois : Van de Velde a conclu un accord avec le fisc qui lui a permis de r\u00e9duire ses imp\u00f4ts \u00e0 3,6 millions d\u2019euros en 2018, soit 10 millions d\u2019euros de moins qu\u2019en 2017. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses efforts continus en mati\u00e8re d\u2019innovation, le groupe a en effet b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d\u2019un stimulus fiscal, qui accorde une diminution du taux d\u2019imposition pour les revenus issus d\u2019innovations. Ainsi au final le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net s\u2019est \u00e9tabli \u00e0 25,5 millions d\u2019euros.
