C\u2019est un affaiblissement par rapport aux 3,8 % de croissance enregistr\u00e9s au troisi\u00e8me trimestre. Les discounters connaissent \u00e9galement un ralentissement.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Un affaiblissement de l\u2019\u00e9conomie<\/h2>\n<p>En Europe, les volumes ont baiss\u00e9 de 0,4 %, alors que les prix ont augment\u00e9 de 2,7 %. Il s&rsquo;agit de la plus faible croissance des volumes depuis le premier trimestre de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2017. La croissance sur l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 3,1 %, exactement le m\u00eame chiffre qu&rsquo;en 2017. Plusieurs indicateurs \u00e9voquent un ralentissement de l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie dans les grands pays europ\u00e9ens. \u00ab Les d\u00e9penses totales en Europe ont \u00e9t\u00e9 impact\u00e9es par un ralentissement de l\u2019\u00e9conomie dans de grands pays europ\u00e9ens comme l&rsquo;Allemagne et l&rsquo;Italie, et par une baisse de la consommation dans des pays comme le Royaume-Uni \u00bb, explique Pedro Lima, le dirigeant du bureau d\u2019\u00e9tudes Nielsen au Benelux.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Selon Nielsen, la croissance des discounters en Europe de l&rsquo;Ouest a \u00e9galement ralenti \u00e0 +2 %, au m\u00eame niveau que celle des supermarch\u00e9s ou hypermarch\u00e9s. Le chiffre d&rsquo;affaires est impact\u00e9 par un recul des promotions des discounters et par un ralentissement des ventes dans les magasins de proximit\u00e9, consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme un moteur de croissance des produits de grande consommation \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Des chiffres par pays<\/h2>\n<p>Avec une croissance nominale de 0,2%, la Belgique se classe \u00e0 la 26i\u00e8me place sur les 28 pays. Les volumes ont baiss\u00e9 de 1,3 % alors que les prix ont augment\u00e9 de 1,6 %. Le canal de proximit\u00e9 a pourtant progress\u00e9 de 5,8 %. Aux Pays-Bas, les volumes ont baiss\u00e9 de 0,5%, tandis que les prix ont augment\u00e9 de 2,3%, entra\u00eenant une croissance nominale de 1,7%.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La Turquie continue d&rsquo;afficher la plus forte croissance en glissement annuel (+ 24,2 %), en partie \u00e0 cause de l&rsquo;inflation. Au quatri\u00e8me trimestre, cependant, on enregistre une baisse de la croissance des volumes (-2,7%). Les autres pays pr\u00e9sentant un taux de croissance \u00e9lev\u00e9 sont la Hongrie (+5,5%), la Pologne (+4,3%), la Norv\u00e8ge (+2,7%) et la Su\u00e8de (+2,2%). La Suisse (-0,4%) n&rsquo;a par contre pas enregistr\u00e9 de croissance.
