On constate toutefois\u00a0 de grandes diff\u00e9rences au niveau des r\u00e9gions et au sein des cat\u00e9gories de produits.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>\nLa Flandre \u00e0 la tra\u00eene<\/h2>\n<p>L\u2019an dernier les consommateurs belges ont d\u00e9pens\u00e9 760 millions d\u2019euros en produits bios, soit une hausse de 15% par rapport \u00e0 2017. A noter que la Flandre ne repr\u00e9sente qu\u2019une faible part de ces d\u00e9penses : seuls 38% des d\u00e9penses (289 millions d\u2019euros) proviennent de la partie n\u00e9erlandophone du pays. La Flandre affiche un retard par rapport \u00e0 la Wallonie, tant en chiffres relatifs qu\u2019absolus. Dans le nord du pays la part de march\u00e9 du bio s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 2,5%, contre plus de 6% dans le sud du pays. En outre le secteur conna\u00eet une croissance plus rapide dans la partie francophone.<\/p>\n<p>\nDans le segment des aliments frais la part de march\u00e9 des produits bios a augment\u00e9 de 3,3 \u00e0 3,9%, mais on observe de grandes divergences au sein des cat\u00e9gories de produits : les substituts bios de viande arrivent en t\u00eate avec une part de march\u00e9 de 27%, tandis que les \u0153ufs bios avec une part de march\u00e9 de 18,1% affichent la plus forte croissance. Autres produits bios tr\u00e8s populaires : les pommes de terre, les l\u00e9gumes et les fruits.\u00a0 Les viandes bios par contre ont la plus faible part de march\u00e9 (1,2%).<\/p>\n<h2>\nLe supermarch\u00e9 perd du terrain<\/h2>\n<p>Les produits frais bios sont en moyenne un tiers plus chers que leurs pendants non bios, voire plus : un \u0153uf bio par exemple co\u00fbte pr\u00e8s de deux fois le prix d\u2019un \u0153uf standard, mais l\u2019\u00e9cart de prix diminue. Pour les substituts de viande l\u2019\u00e9cart est le plus r\u00e9duit : dans cette cat\u00e9gorie la variante bio ne co\u00fbte que 16% de plus qu\u2019un produit courant, ce qui pourrait expliquer la position de t\u00eate de cette cat\u00e9gorie au niveau de la part de march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\nRien d\u2019\u00e9tonnant donc \u00e0 ce que les m\u00e9nages ais\u00e9s avec enfants et les jeunes c\u00e9libataires d\u00e9pensent le plus en produits bios. Les m\u00e9nages avec enfants, ayant des revenus plus limit\u00e9s, d\u00e9pensent le moins en produits bios (1,6% des d\u00e9penses en produits frais).<\/p>\n<p>\nLes supermarch\u00e9s classiques se taillent toujours la part du lion avec\u00a0 une part de march\u00e9 de 36%, mais ils perdent du terrain au profit d\u2019autres canaux. Les commerces sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, comme les magasins d\u2019aliments naturels, mais \u00e9galement l\u2019enseigne <strong>Bio-Planet <\/strong>par exemple, d\u00e9tiennent d\u00e9j\u00e0 un tiers de la totalit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 bio. Les magasins de proximit\u00e9 repr\u00e9sentent une part de march\u00e9 de 14% et les hard discounters 10%.
