C&rsquo;est ce qu\u2019affirme CNBC sur base d\u2019un courriel que l&rsquo;entreprise de m\u00e9dias a pu consulter. Le changement aurait pour but de \u00ab combler l&rsquo;\u00e9cart de profit \u00bb de ces produits. En contrepartie, Amazon supprime les frais de placement (500 dollars ou 450 euros) qui sont factur\u00e9s en temps normal pour pouvoir pratiquer des promotions Prime Day.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ce changement de politique refl\u00e8te l&rsquo;importance accrue qu&rsquo;Amazon accorde \u00e0 la rentabilit\u00e9. En rempla\u00e7ant les co\u00fbts promotionnels fixes par des paiements qui emp\u00eachent l&rsquo;entreprise de perdre de l&rsquo;argent, elle d\u00e9montre sa volont\u00e9 de renoncer \u00e0 la croissance du chiffre d\u2019affaires \u00e0 condition que le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice soit assur\u00e9. Pour accro\u00eetre sa rentabilit\u00e9, Amazon avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 interdit la publicit\u00e9 de produits non rentables et cess\u00e9 de travailler avec un certain nombre de petites marques plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On ne conna\u00eet pas la vraie raison, mais cette mesure permet \u00e0 Amazon de cibler principalement les marques alimentaires. Une explication possible r\u00e9side dans le fait que ces produits sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement assez bon march\u00e9, mais relativement volumineux, et donc difficiles \u00e0 acheminer avec profit.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dans le temps, les marques de supermarch\u00e9s pouvaient avoir recours aux promotions Prime Day en payant une commission de placement unique.
