\n\u00ab Mieux vaut 50% que par d\u2019avenir du tout \u00bb<\/h2>\n

Vingt mois apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9couverte du plus grand scandale fiscal d\u2019Afrique du Sud, le nouveau CEO Louis du Preez <\/a>a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 son nouveau plan pour sortir le groupe Steinhoff International de l\u2019orni\u00e8re. Selon le CEO, la seule mani\u00e8re de survivre <\/a>est de c\u00e9der certaines cha\u00eenes, enti\u00e8rement ou partiellement.<\/p>\n

\nEn 2017 il s\u2019est av\u00e9r\u00e9 qu\u2019il y avait pour pas moins de 6,5 milliards d\u2019euros de \u2018trous\u2019 dans la comptabilit\u00e9 du holding sud-africain, dont la valeur du coup a diminu\u00e9 de 13 milliards d\u2019euros. Aujourd\u2019hui les dettes de Steinhoff s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8vent encore \u00e0 9 milliards d\u2019euros et bon nombre de proc\u00e8s d\u2019investisseurs l\u00e9s\u00e9s sont encore en cours.<\/p>\n

\nUn s\u00e9rieux d\u00e9graissage du groupe s\u2019impose donc. Du Preez estime qu\u2019il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de conserver une participation de 50% dans des entreprises ayant un avenir<\/a>, plut\u00f4t que de garder enti\u00e8rement des entreprises sans avoir l\u2019argent pour les transformer. Il prend donc la \u00ab d\u00e9cision op\u00e9rationnelle \u00bb de transformer Steinhoff en une pure entreprise d\u2019investissement, plut\u00f4t qu\u2019un propri\u00e9taire de cha\u00eenes retail.<\/p>\n

Moins d\u2019influence et nouveau conseil d\u2019administration<\/h2>\n

Les dettes que le holding tra\u00eene encore derri\u00e8re lui aujourd\u2019hui, ne pourront jamais \u00eatre combl\u00e9es, semble-t-il, bien que des accords concernant des mesures de restructuration soient attendus dans les jours prochains,\u00a0 notamment au sein de la cha\u00eene de meubles fran\u00e7aise Conforama<\/strong>, dont 42 magasins fermeront leurs portes <\/a>et 1900 employ\u00e9s seront licenci\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\nSteinhoff a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019avenir de donner plus d’ind\u00e9pendance\u00a0\u00e0\u00a0\u2018ses\u2019 cha\u00eenes, notamment en mettant en place de nouveaux conseils d\u2019administration avec des managers ind\u00e9pendants. En outre le groupe envisage des cessions, allant de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s immobili\u00e8res jusqu\u2019\u00e0 des cha\u00eenes enti\u00e8res. Par ailleurs il est question depuis un certain temps d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u2019une introduction en bourse de Pepkor Europe, la division qui chapeaute le retailer britannique Poundland<\/strong>, mais la d\u00e9cision n\u2019a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 prise, indique Du Preez.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
