Avec sa position dominante sur son march\u00e9 domestique l\u2019enseigne ne peut plus trop\u00a0compter sur\u00a0l&rsquo;expansion ou les reprises pour assurer sa croissance. Celle-ci\u00a0devra provenir de l\u2019innovation. En Belgique la situation est diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>\nDes \u00e9tapes importantes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 franchies<\/h2>\n<p>En 2019 Albert Heijn a atteint une part de march\u00e9 de 34,9% sur l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, un chiffre stable par rapport \u00e0 2018, indique le distributeur dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse. Les performances ont \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement fortes au deuxi\u00e8me semestre. Une bonne nouvelle pour la cha\u00eene, qui en 2018 avait perdu des parts de march\u00e9 face \u00e0 des concurrents comme <strong>Lidl<\/strong> et <strong>Jumbo<\/strong>. La CEO Marit van Egmond, aux commandes depuis un an, peut donc s\u2019estimer satisfaite : \u00ab Pendant l\u2019ann\u00e9e nous avons franchi d\u2019importantes \u00e9tapes avec Albert Heijn \u00bb, explique-t-elle. \u00ab Nous voulons faciliter la vie de nos clients de jour en jour. En les aidant \u00e0 manger mieux, en leur permettant de faire leurs courses quotidiennes o\u00f9 et quand ils le souhaitent et \u00e9videmment en rendant les courses abordables. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\nL\u2019an dernier l\u2019enseigne a r\u00e9nov\u00e9 123 supermarch\u00e9s selon un nouveau concept, centr\u00e9 sur le frais et les avantages. Vingt nouveaux magasins se sont ajout\u00e9s au r\u00e9seau, portant le nombre total de points de vente \u00e0 1029. En Belgique le retailer est pass\u00e9 de 42 \u00e0 49 magasins. Autre priorit\u00e9 du distributeur : la digitalisation. AH a livr\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 22 millions de paniers de courses \u00e0 domicile et le nombre d\u2019utilisateurs actifs de l\u2019app a augment\u00e9 de 60%.<\/p>\n<h2>\nHoraires d\u2019ouverture plus larges<\/h2>\n<p>Depuis l\u2019automne dernier Albert Heijn op\u00e8re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/fr\/news\/food\/150-fonctions-manag%C3%A9riales-consid%C3%A9r%C3%A9es-comme-superflues-chez-albert-heijn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">au sein d\u2019une structure manag\u00e9riale simplifi\u00e9e<\/a>, moins stratifi\u00e9e. Par ailleurs le retailer a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9largir les horaires d\u2019ouverture en vue d\u2019augmenter le chiffre d\u2019affaires : d\u00e9sormais plus d\u2019un supermarch\u00e9 n\u00e9erlandais sur trois est ouvert jusqu\u2019\u00e0 22 heures. En outre, le dimanche les magasins sont ouverts plus souvent et plus longtemps, pr\u00e9cise Distrifood. Selon le porte-parole Ronald van der Aart, les clients sont demandeurs de ces horaires d\u2019ouverture plus larges : \u00ab Nous avons r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement constat\u00e9 ce besoin. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 c\u2019est possible nous tentons d\u2019y r\u00e9pondre, en collaboration avec nos franchis\u00e9s \u00bb, explique-t-il au magazine.<\/p>\n<p>\nUne d\u00e9marche logique : avec une part de march\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 35% il reste peu d\u2019espace au leader du march\u00e9 pour s\u2019\u00e9tendre, car les reprises risquent de se heurter \u00e0 un refus du gendarme de la concurrence. En revanche les concurrents comme Jumbo et Lidl ont encore du terrain \u00e0 exploiter. C\u2019est pourquoi Albert Heijn se voit contraint d\u2019explorer d\u2019autres pistes de croissance : l\u2019e-commerce, l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la logistique, le self-scanning, les r\u00e9novations de magasins, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de l\u2019assortiment avec plus de frais, des actions judicieuses \u2026 La Belgique par contre rec\u00e8le encore un bon potentiel d\u2019expansion.
