Aux Pays-Bas les segments mesur\u00e9s par GfK affichent un chiffre d\u2019affaires en baisse de pas moins de 7%, en Belgique le recul est de 3% par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode un an auparavant. A noter que pour la Belgique tous les secteurs n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 repris dans l\u2019\u00e9tude : ainsi cette ann\u00e9e le segment de la mode n\u2019entre pas en ligne de compte.<\/p>\n<p>La branche n\u00e9erlandaise de GfK indique toutefois que la crise n\u2019est pas la seule responsable de ce recul. D\u2019autres facteurs interviennent : ainsi le march\u00e9 immobilier en difficult\u00e9 fait chuter les ventes de grands appareils m\u00e9nagers (-5%) et du secteur du bricolage (-6%). Par ailleurs le changement de comportement du consommateur est \u00e9galement un \u00e9l\u00e9ment non-n\u00e9gligeable.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>La digitalisation, un facteur tout aussi important<\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab Les industries sont davantage influenc\u00e9es par le changement de comportement des consommateurs et par la modification de l\u2019\u00e9chelle des valeurs que par la crise \u00e9conomique \u00bb, estime le bureau d\u2019\u00e9tudes. Ainsi suite \u00e0 la digitalisation, le march\u00e9 des livres papier pour la premi\u00e8re fois aux Pays-Bas conna\u00eet un recul \u00e0 deux chiffres (-11%), tout comme le segment des produits de divertissement physiques (-19%). La branche des voyages est elle aussi touch\u00e9e (-13%).<\/p>\n<p>En Belgique la baisse est moins importante \u2013 les chiffres de vente ont moins r\u00e9gress\u00e9 au troisi\u00e8me qu\u2019au deuxi\u00e8me trimestre \u2013, mais cumulativement le retail non-food belge est en recul de 1,6% sur base annuelle par rapport \u00e0 2012.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>Le pire est-il derri\u00e8re nous ?<\/h2>\n<p>Dans ce tableau assez sombre, quelques points de lumi\u00e8re toutefois : selon les derniers chiffres la confiance du consommateur belge a atteint son niveau le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 depuis juillet 2011 et aux Pays-Bas aussi le consommateur semble reprendre confiance. Au niveau europ\u00e9en l\u2019\u00e9conomie\u00a0 au troisi\u00e8me trimestre a l\u00e9g\u00e8rement progress\u00e9 de 0,4%. \u00ab L\u2019histoire nous apprend que ceci est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un signe avant-coureur d\u2019une augmentation des d\u00e9penses chez les consommateurs \u00bb, commente Erik Lejeune, directeur commercial de GfK Retail &amp; Technology Belgique.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Depuis le deuxi\u00e8me trimestre nous sommes de plus en plus nombreux \u00e0 esp\u00e9rer que les pires moments de la crise financi\u00e8re sont \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent derri\u00e8re nous. Les exportateurs profitent d\u2019une modeste croissance de l\u2019\u00e9conomie mondiale et la politique assouplit les mesures d\u2019aust\u00e9rit\u00e9 drastiques qui ont frein\u00e9 les \u00e9conomies nationales \u00bb, poursuit Lejeune.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Quelques conseils pour la p\u00e9riode de fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Etant donn\u00e9 que le quatri\u00e8me trimestre repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s de 30% du chiffre d\u2019affaires global du retail non-food, les commer\u00e7ants devront miser pleinement sur cette p\u00e9riode de fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e, selon GfK. Voici donc quelques conseils prodigu\u00e9 par GfK concernant les articles les plus pris\u00e9s, du moins en Belgique.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi parmi toutes les cat\u00e9gories de produits, les accessoires pour t\u00e9l\u00e9phones mobiles et tablettes\u00a0 se sont le mieux vendus au troisi\u00e8me trimestre. \u00ab Sachant\u00a0 qu\u2019en 2012 plus de 40% des tablettes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9coul\u00e9es durant les trois derniers mois de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00bb, cette cat\u00e9gorie rec\u00e8le donc un \u00e9norme potentiel pour la p\u00e9riode de fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e. Par ailleurs tous les produits ayant trait \u00e0 la cuisine et aux plaisirs de la table sont habituellement tr\u00e8s populaires au mois de d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n<p>GfK Pays-Bas pour sa part souligne le fait que le \u00ab m\u00e9tier de retailer \u00bb a totalement chang\u00e9 : \u00ab alors que le lieu d\u2019implantation perd en importance, le retailer s\u2019efforce avant tout de partir \u00e0 la recherche du client.
