Les grands vainqueurs du quatri\u00e8me trimestre sont les hard discounters Aldi (+0,5%) et Lidl (+0,3%). Delhaize affiche un statu quo, alors que Colruyt perd du terrain (-0,2%), ainsi que Carrefour (-0,5%).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019explication de ces chiffres est assez \u00e9vidente selon Dirk Vanderveken de GfK\u00a0 :\u00a0 \u00ab Les consommateurs optent syst\u00e9matiquement pour des produits meilleur march\u00e9 et se rendent moins fr\u00e9quemment au supermarch\u00e9. Par cons\u00e9quent les retailers ont moins d\u2019occasions de tenter le client. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autre part Aldi et Lidl ne sont plus les hard discounters qu\u2019ils \u00e9taient autrefois : aujourd\u2019hui ils se profilent comme\u00a0 magasins de proximit\u00e9, misent davantage sur le frais et proposent m\u00eame des repas festifs en p\u00e9riode de fin d\u2019ann\u00e9e. \u00ab On assiste actuellement au \u2018upgrading\u2019 du hard discount \u00bb, estime Vanderveken. R\u00e9sultat : \u00ab La diff\u00e9rence avec les supermarch\u00e9s s\u2019estompe et cela affecte leur image prix. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs Colruyt, qui a fait du \u2018meilleur prix\u2019 son fer de lance, se voit contraint de r\u00e9duire les prix de nombreux produits, suite\u00a0 \u00e0 la politique de prix\u00a0 plus agressive pratiqu\u00e9e par la concurrence. \u00ab Pour Colruyt, qui dit suivre toutes les promotions, cela pose un probl\u00e8me. A force de suivre les promotions de la concurrence, son b\u00e9n\u00e9fice diminue, sans que cela soit compens\u00e9 par des clients venant sp\u00e9cialement pour une promotion et qui en m\u00eame temps font aussi d\u2019autres achats. \u00bb<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>\u00ab Un panier jusqu\u2019\u00e0 10% moins cher d\u2019ici 5 ans \u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>Selon Het Laatste Nieuws et De Tijd, le consommateur \u00ab sortira grand gagnant de cette guerre des supermarch\u00e9s \u00bb. Les deux journaux citent les propos de l\u2019expert en bourse Patrick Roquas de Rabo Securities. D\u2019apr\u00e8s l\u2019analyste les enseignes Lidl et Albert Heijn surtout, avec leur strat\u00e9gie ax\u00e9e sur les petits prix, poussent non seulement Colruyt, mais \u00e9galement Delhaize et Carrefour\u00a0 \u00e0 adopter une attitude d\u00e9fensive.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab La violente concurrence au niveau des prix, que l\u2019on conna\u00eet d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux Pays-Bas et aux USA, s\u2019\u00e9tendra \u00e9galement vers la Belgique \u00bb, estime-t-il. \u00ab A mesure qu\u2019Albert Heijn multipliera ses magasins en Belgique, la concurrence devra forc\u00e9ment investir dans les r\u00e9ductions de prix. Actuellement Colruyt est d\u00e9j\u00e0 contraint de diminuer ses prix de 5 \u00e0 7% dans quatre \u00e0 six magasins dans chaque quartier o\u00f9 Albert Heijn ouvre un nouveau point de vente \u00bb, r\u00e9v\u00e8le une analyse de Rabo Securities.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Roquas, Delhaize et Carrefour, eux aussi, n\u2019auront d\u2019autre choix que de suivre ces baisses de prix : \u00ab Mais au lieu d\u2019un big bang, tout cela se fera progressivement \u00bb indique-t-il, surtout \u00ab parce qu\u2019 Albert Heijn mettra du temps \u00e0 devenir un acteur national. Il faudra donc encore compter 5 \u00e0 7 ans avant que les prix de tous les magasins Colruyt ne soient diminu\u00e9s. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab C\u2019est pourquoi nous tablons sur une r\u00e9duction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des prix de 5% \u00e0 10% end\u00e9ans les cinq ans. Ainsi les prix rejoindraient plus ou moins ceux pratiqu\u00e9s aux Pays-Bas \u00bb, conclut l\u2019expert.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>\u00ab Je m\u2019attends \u00e0 une vive contre-offensive de la part de Colruyt \u00bb<\/h2>\n<p>Dans les studios du programme t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9 Terzake,\u00a0 Jorg Snoeck de RetailDetail a confirm\u00e9 cette \u00ab intensification de la concurrence et de la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 du march\u00e9 \u00bb. M\u00eame si le\u00a0 consommateur tirera profit de cette situation,\u00a0 Snoeck \u00e9voque les risques de cette guerre des prix : \u00ab A force d\u2019investir sans cesse dans les plus bas prix, les supermarch\u00e9s finiront par manquer de budget pour la recherche de nouveaux produits. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Snoeck pr\u00e9voit \u00ab une vive contre-offensive de la part de Colruyt : un plan d\u2019action sera tr\u00e8s vite mis sur pied, car \u00e0 Hal ils ont l\u2019habitude de r\u00e9agir rapidement. \u00bb Mais pour l\u2019instant Colruyt pr\u00e9f\u00e8re cacher son jeu : \u00ab Nous allons tester des nouveaut\u00e9s ici et l\u00e0. Mais quoi que fasse la concurrence, nous continuerons \u00e0 investir dans nos prix. Les \u2018meilleurs prix\u2019 restent notre principal atout \u00bb, souligne un Frans Colruyt combatif dans le journal De Standaard.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois cette revendication du \u2018meilleur prix\u2019 devra \u00eatre communiqu\u00e9e diff\u00e9remment, explique Marc Hofman, directeur financier de Colruyt, dans le journal De Tijd : \u00ab La communication de la concurrence, mettant l\u2019accent sur les fortes promotions, avait plus d\u2019impact que nos campagnes soulignant notre strat\u00e9gie du plus bas prix. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Le mot de la fin revient \u00e0 Ivan Sabbe, CEO de Lidl Belgique de 1993 \u00e0 2006 (et actuel CEO de ISPC, grossiste dans le secteur horeca). Selon lui, \u00ab Colruyt n\u2019a pas de raisons de paniquer suite au ralentissement de la croissance de son chiffre d\u2019affaires et suite au recul de sa part de march\u00e9. Le d\u00e9fi se situe principalement au niveau de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration des magasins, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. \u00bb De quoi inciter Colruyt \u00e0 d\u00e9marrer ou
