La confiance des consommateurs s&rsquo;effondre, les comportements d&rsquo;achat changent : l&rsquo;occasion et le commerce en ligne se d\u00e9veloppent au d\u00e9triment des d\u00e9taillants de mode sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Sensible \u00e0 la r\u00e9cession<\/h2>\n<p>Ces vingt derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les familles ont consacr\u00e9 une part de plus en plus r\u00e9duite de leur budget \u00e0 la mode : la part des d\u00e9penses de mode dans le budget des m\u00e9nages est m\u00eame tomb\u00e9e \u00e0 4% en 2020 et le chiffre d&rsquo;affaires des magasins de mode est tomb\u00e9 bien en dessous du niveau de 2019. Cette situation ne va pas s&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer pour l&rsquo;instant : la guerre en Ukraine fait chuter la confiance des consommateurs et la hausse des prix fait que les m\u00e9nages voient leur revenu disponible diminuer. Cela aura un impact sur le comportement de d\u00e9pense, indique un nouveau rapport de l&rsquo;assureur-cr\u00e9dit Allianz Trade.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La mode, apr\u00e8s tout, est tr\u00e8s sensible \u00e0 la r\u00e9cession : c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;un des premiers articles sur lesquels les acheteurs \u00e9conomisent, ce qui pourrait r\u00e9duire les d\u00e9penses de mode dans l&rsquo;UE de quelque 4,85 milliards d&rsquo;euros en 2022. Selon le rapport, le d\u00e9clin est surtout ressenti par les d\u00e9taillants de mode sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, car le comportement des consommateurs a chang\u00e9. Les acheteurs optent davantage pour les v\u00eatements en ligne, d&rsquo;occasion, de loisirs et de sport. Les v\u00eatements plus formels sont en perte de vitesse.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Diminution du nombre de magasins de chaussures<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;assureur-cr\u00e9dit souligne que ces nouvelles tendances de consommation ne sont pas transitoires. Les d\u00e9penses de mode par habitant continuent de baisser et d\u00e9j\u00e0 environ 40 % des d\u00e9penses de mode se font en dehors des magasins sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. Seules les ventes dans le segment le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 du luxe sont sup\u00e9rieures aux niveaux de 2019.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Par cons\u00e9quent, les d\u00e9taillants de mode sont de moins en moins capables de faire face, d\u00e9clare Johan Geeroms d&rsquo;Allianz Trade. Il fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au secteur de la chaussure : \u00ab\u00a0On le remarque dans l&rsquo;augmentation des ventes de chaussures de sport et de baskets, au d\u00e9triment des chaussures traditionnelles en cuir.\u00a0\u00bb Selon l&rsquo;organisation sectorielle INretail, le nombre de magasins de chaussures aux Pays-Bas est tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 moins de mille magasins. En f\u00e9vrier 2021, il y avait encore 1 364 magasins de chaussures en Belgique, selon un d\u00e9compte de RetailSonar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Risque d&rsquo;insolvabilit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Dans le m\u00eame temps, l&rsquo;inflation p\u00e8se sur la rentabilit\u00e9 des d\u00e9taillants de mode. Les prix du coton, des fibres synth\u00e9tiques et des transports restent \u00e9lev\u00e9s, ce qui exerce une pression sur les marges brutes. Apr\u00e8s tout, l&rsquo;achat de marchandises repr\u00e9sente pas moins de 50 \u00e0 60 % des co\u00fbts d&rsquo;exploitation des cha\u00eenes de mode. Elles devront ajuster leur gamme de produits, produire plus pr\u00e8s de chez elles, se concentrer sur les articles les plus chers et offrir moins de rabais. Selon une enqu\u00eate de McKinsey aupr\u00e8s des PDG du secteur de la mode, 67 % d&rsquo;entre eux s&rsquo;attendent \u00e0 ce que les prix augmentent de plus de 4 % cette ann\u00e9e.<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ces changements structurels dans l&rsquo;industrie de la mode augmentent le risque d&rsquo;insolvabilit\u00e9 : \u00ab\u00a0Il peut aussi s&rsquo;agir de grandes faillites. Pensez aux cha\u00eenes de magasins. Depuis 2016, il y a eu 78 faillites en Europe dans lesquelles des d\u00e9taillants de mode ayant un chiffre d&rsquo;affaires annuel sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 10 millions d&rsquo;euros se sont effondr\u00e9s. Au total, quelque 14 milliards d&rsquo;euros de chiffre d&rsquo;affaires ont ainsi \u00e9t\u00e9 perdus.\u00a0\u00bb Au passage, les fabricants de v\u00eatements sont \u00e9galement en difficult\u00e9 : ils doivent faire face \u00e0 des fermetures d&rsquo;usines, des p\u00e9nuries de mat\u00e9riaux, des prix \u00e9lev\u00e9s des conteneurs et des probl\u00e8mes dans la cha\u00eene d&rsquo;approvisionnement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie, la guerre et l&rsquo;inflation sont &#8211; \u00e0 nouveau &#8211; synonymes de mauvaises nouvelles pour le commerce de d\u00e9tail de la mode.
