Une augmentation qui s\u2019explique non seulement par la hausse du prix du lait, mais \u00e9galement par la consommation accrue de lait chocolat\u00e9 et de yaourt. C\u2019est ce que r\u00e9v\u00e8lent les chiffres du VLAM (Office Flamand d&rsquo;Agro-Marketing), qui fait suivre en permanence les achats pour consommation \u00e0 domicile d\u2019un panel de 5.000 m\u00e9nages belges par GfK PanelServices Benelux.<\/p>\n<p>En 2014 le Belge a achet\u00e9 50,6 litres de lait et autres boissons \u00e0 base de lait (+0,2%) et 3,8 litres de boissons v\u00e9g\u00e9tales (+17%), dont des boissons \u00e0 base de soja et de riz, pour lesquels il a d\u00e9pens\u00e9 respectivement 45,83 euros (+1,3%) et 7,01 euros (+11%).<\/p>\n<p>En outre le consommateur belge l\u2019an dernier a achet\u00e9 environ 12 kg de fromage (hormis le fromage blanc) pour un montant total de 114 euros. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une croissance de 0,7% en termes de volume et de 1,4% en termes de prix. Ainsi les d\u00e9penses globales ont augment\u00e9 de plus de 2%. En Flandre on note une hausse de respectivement 2% et 3,7%.<\/p>\n<h2>\n<br \/>Le lait des marques de distributeurs tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9<\/h2>\n<p>Pas moins de 86% de la totalit\u00e9 du lait vendu a \u00e9t\u00e9 achet\u00e9 dans des emballages d\u2019un litre, bien que les emballages d\u2019un demi-litre gagnent du terrain (de 5,5% en 2008 \u00e0 7,2% en 2014). Les briques sont de loin l\u2019emballage le plus populaire avec plus de 76% du volume de lait vendu, alors que les bouteilles en plastique et en verre sont en recul.<\/p>\n<p>La part des marques de distributeurs dans les ventes de lait reste importante avec plus de 79%. Le lait est donc une affaire de supermarch\u00e9s par excellence, sachant que plus de 94% du lait est achet\u00e9 en supermarch\u00e9 (\u2018Dis 1\u2019, hard discount et supermarch\u00e9s de proximit\u00e9). Tant le leader du march\u00e9 \u2018Dis 1\u2019 (Carrefour, Delhaize, Colruyt, Cora, Match, Makro, Champion) que le hard discount ont gagn\u00e9 du terrain : \u2018Dis 1\u2019 d\u00e9tient 46,9% des ventes de lait, suivi du hard discount avec 38,3%. Les supermarch\u00e9s de proximit\u00e9 ont recul\u00e9 de 10% en 2013 \u00e0 9,2% en 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Tendance \u00e0 la baisse pour les fromages belges<\/h2>\n<p>Dans le segment des fromages le hard discount et Dis 1 sont les vainqueurs de 2014 : le hard discount a atteint une part de march\u00e9 de 32% et est le grand gagnant \u00e0 terme, mais Dis 1 reste le leader du march\u00e9 avec 46,6%. Les supermarch\u00e9s de proximit\u00e9 ont perdu du terrain sur le march\u00e9 du fromage, bien qu\u2019on observe une l\u00e9g\u00e8re hausse dans le segment des fromages belges.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois les fromages belges ne suivent pas la tendance ascendante du march\u00e9 : leur part en termes de volume a diminu\u00e9 de 1,1 point de pourcentage \u00e0\u00a0 16,9% et de 1,3 point de pourcentage \u00e0 20,7% en termes de valeur. Ceci s\u2019explique en grande partie par le fait que les fromages belges sont sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans le hard discount.<\/p>\n<p>Par ailleurs on observe une diff\u00e9rence g\u00e9ographique : la part de march\u00e9 du fromage belge est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans le nord que dans le sud du pays. Bien que le Wallon ach\u00e8te plus de fromage que le Flamand, ce dernier proportionnellement est plus friand de fromages belges. En Flandre la part de march\u00e9 des fromages belges s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 19,7% en termes de volume et \u00e0 24% en termes de d\u00e9penses.
