De multinational blijft hongerig naar overnames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cDagelijkse verwennerij\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De inspanningen van Mondelez om zijn producten aan te bieden tegen verschillende prijspunten, leveren resultaat op. De fabrikant zag de vraag stijgen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/retail-consumer\/mondelez-international-beats-quarterly-revenue-estimates-steady-demand-2024-10-29\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voor snoepgoed en koekjes die tussen de drie tot vier dollar geprijsd zijn<\/a> (omgerekend 2,7&nbsp;tot 3,7&nbsp;euro), omdat consumenten goedkopere alternatieven zoeken. Met name in Europa en Noord-Amerika trekken de volumes weer aan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De multinational haalde in het derde kwartaal een omzet van 9,2&nbsp;miljard dollar (8,5&nbsp;miljard euro), wat beter is dan wat analisten hadden verwacht. Ook de winst kwam boven de verwachtingen uit. &#8220;Consumenten blijven chocolade en koekjes omarmen als dagelijkse verwennerij&#8221;, zegt CEO Dirk Van de Put, die eraan toevoegt dat consumenten trouw zijn gebleven aan hun favoriete merken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mondelez neemt een meerderheidsbelang in Evirth, een Chinese producent van cake en gebak. Het bedrijf gaat verder op zoek naar kansen voor overnames, zegt de topman: \u201cWe blijven gefocust op het versnellen van onze groeistrategie op lange termijn.
