De maaltijdspecialist ziet de eerste positieve resultaten van een nieuwe strategie die bespaart op marketinginvesteringen en focust op productiviteitswinst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cEfficiency reset\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Terwijl de omzet van HelloFresh in&nbsp;2024 nog een bescheiden groei kende van&nbsp;0,9% naar 7,66&nbsp;miljard euro, daalde het aangepaste bedrijfsresultaat met&nbsp;11% naar 399&nbsp;miljoen euro, wat weliswaar nog boven de verwachtingen was. Dit jaar zal dat resultaat fors stijgen naar&nbsp;450 tot&nbsp;500&nbsp;miljoen euro, verwacht het bedrijf. De omzet echter zal tussen de 3&nbsp;en&nbsp;8% dalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na vijf jaar van groei is voor HelloFresh halverwege vorig jaar namelijk een nieuwe fase aangebroken, waarbij rentabiliteit boven groei gaat. De specialist in maaltijdkits en bereide maaltijden richt zich op minder, maar hoogwaardigere klanten die grotere bestellingen plaatsen. Daarbij neemt het bedrijf volumedalingen voor lief. De focus verschuift naar het verbeteren van effici\u00ebntie en productiviteit. CEO en medeoprichter Dominik Richter spreekt van een \u201cefficiency reset\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De eerste tastbare resultaten van die aanpak werden zichtbaar in het vierde kwartaal: de marketinguitgaven daalden naar&nbsp;16% van de omzet, terwijl dat een jaar eerder dat nog 19,1% was. Terwijl de marge over het hele jaar daalde tot&nbsp;25,8%, herstelde ze zich in het vierde kwartaal naar&nbsp;27,1%.
