De onderliggende omzet ging er mooi op vooruit, de gunstige wisselkoersen versterkten die groei nog. Toch blijft Unilever-baas Polman voorzichtig.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>53,3 miljard euro omzet<\/h2>\n<p>Unilever &#8211; bekend van merken als Axe, Coral, Cif, Becel en Zwan &#8211; zag zijn totale omzet in 2015 met 10% klimmen tot 53,3 miljard euro. Exclusief overnames en wisselkoerseffecten klokte de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unilever.com\/investor-relations\/results-and-publications\/latest-results\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">onderliggende omzetgroei op 4,1%<\/a> af. Het verkoopvolume klom met 2,1% en de prijzen gingen met 1,9% omhoog.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Productmatig moet Unilever het relatief gesproken steeds minder hebben van de voedingstak. De onderliggende groei van die afdeling bleef beperkt tot 1,5%, een pak minder dan de +4,1% van de divisie persoonlijke verzorgingsproducten en dan de +5,9% van de tak schoonmaakproducten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De nettowinst daalde wel met zo&#8217;n 5% tot 5,3 miljard euro. Dit kwam vooral doordat in 2014 de winst eenmalig hoger uitviel door het afstoten van bedrijfsonderdelen, waaronder Bertolli (verkocht aan het Japanse Mizkan).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>&#8220;Wereldeconomie groeit langzamer&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p>&#8220;Ondanks een uitdagend jaar met een tragere wereldwijde economische groei en dalende grondstofprijzen zijn we weer sterker gegroeid dan de markt&#8221;, zegt een tevreden topman Paul Polman. &#8220;Deze resultaten laten opnieuw zien dat we vooruitgang boeken in het ombouwen van Unilever tot een veerkrachtigere organisatie, die in staat is steeds onderliggende concurrerende groei te laten zien.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Toch blijft de Nederlander voorzichtig. Het concern boekt momenteel zo&#8217;n 60% van zijn omzet in opkomende markten als China, Rusland, Brazili\u00eb en India. Maar die landen staan de laatste tijd onder druk. Zo was de groei van de Chinese economie het afgelopen kwartaal de laagste in 25 jaar. &#8220;We moeten voorzichtig zijn. De wereldeconomie groeit langzamer.
