Dat stelt het in zijn nieuwe Global Corporate Social Responsibility-strategie.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>14 doelstellingen<\/h2>\n<p>De nieuwe strategie bevat een aantal activiteiten en meetbare doelen, die over het volledige bedrijf verspreid zijn en die tegen 2020 gerealiseerd moeten worden. In totaal bevat het plan 14 nieuwe doelstellingen.\u00a0Zo wil The Body Shop wereldwijd 40.000 economisch zwakke mensen toegang geven tot de arbeidsmarkt en wil het 250.000 uren vaardigheden en know-how besteden aan het verrijken van de biodiversiteit van lokale gemeenschappen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het wil ook jaar na jaar de ecologische voetafdruk van de producten verkleinen en 100 procent van alle natuurlijke ingredi\u00ebnten moet in de toekomst duurzaam verbouwd worden. Daarnaast wil The Body Shop ook drie duurzame verpakkingsinnovaties ontwikkelen en uitvoeren, en zal het er op toezien dat 70 procent van alle verpakkingen geproduceerd wordt zonder het gebruik van fossiele brandstoffen. Ook in de winkels moet het energieverbruik jaarlijks met 10 procent omlaag.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVanaf het begin heeft The Body Shop een dappere pioniersrol vervuld in het zoeken naar nieuwe denk- en handelswijzen en manieren om je te laten horen als bedrijf.
