Ook bij de jongste generaties blijft fysiek winkelen populair, omwille van de fysieke ervaring en de mogelijkheid om nieuwe producten te ontdekken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fysieke winkel is springlevend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Waar kopen consumenten hun verzorgingsproducten? Die vraag stelden <strong>Henkel<\/strong> en trendwatcher Herman Konings in hun trendrapport. De supermarkt steekt er met 76% nog altijd met kop en schouders bovenuit. Gespecialiseerde winkels zoals parfumerie\u00ebn en drogisterijen volgen op ruime afstand, met respectievelijk 28% en 27%. De kloof met online retailers (14%) is nog groter. Voor was- en poetsproducten is het verschil nog groter: daar leidt de supermarkt met 89%. 12% koopt soms of altijd bij de drogisterij, 10% bij online retailers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kortom: ook al werd de ondergang van de fysieke winkel al vaak voorspeld, toch is hij springlevend. 71% van de bevraagde consumenten denkt dat ze ook binnen vijf jaar nog het gros van hun boodschappen voor het huishouden in de winkel zullen doen. 12% ziet zichzelf overwegend online shoppen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De voorliefde voor fysiek winkelen beperkt zich niet tot verzorgingsproducten, poetsproducten of wasmiddelen. 74% geniet van regelmatige shoppingexcursies, slechts 8% heeft het liefst alles thuisbezorgd. Bij de -35-jarigen stijgt dat aandeel wel naar 13%, maar ook die generaties blijven zweren bij minstens af en toe een \u201cecht\u201d winkelbezoek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Echte sociale contacten<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Waar ligt de aantrekkingskracht van de supermarkt en andere fysieke winkels? Voor 57% gaat het onder andere om het ontdekken van nieuwe producten. 71% bestempelt een winkelbezoek als een zintuiglijke ervaring. Bij 55-plussers is dat zelfs 82%. Ruim de helft van de consumenten (54%) is ervan overtuigd dat we in 2030 op dezelfde manier zullen winkelen als vandaag,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEven leefde het idee dat koeriers alles zouden leveren aan huis, van pizza\u2019s tot tandpasta of zeep. Maar die voorspellingen hebben onderschat hoe groot de behoefte aan fysiek contact en menselijke interacties is\u201d, zegt Konings. \u201cWe zien \u2013 vooral bij de jongere generaties \u2013 een nieuwe trend ontstaan van \u2018social rewilding\u2019, waarbij we een stap terugzetten van sociale media en onze smartphones aan de kant leggen om in te zetten op \u00e9chte sociale contacten, in een andere context. Zo zien we dat Gen Z\u2019ers graag afspreken om samen te gaan shoppen, om zich echt onder te dompelen in die winkelervaring.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Consumenten kopen hun verzorgingsproducten nog overwegend in de supermarkt.
