Steeds meer shoppers nemen nieuwe drijfveren in overweging: gezondheid en welzijn, veiligheid, maatschappelijke impact, beleving\u2026<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Fundamentele verandering<\/h2>\n<p>Kortom: transparantie gevraagd\u2026 Die trend staat los van demografische of regionale factoren, <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.deloitte.com\/us\/en\/pages\/consumer-business\/articles\/us-food-industry-consumer-trends-report.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blijkt uit een (weliswaar Amerikaanse) studie<\/a> van <strong>Deloitte<\/strong>, <strong>Food Marketing Institute<\/strong> (FMI)\u00a0en <strong>Grocery Manufacturers Association<\/strong> (GMA). Het zijn dus echt niet enkel de zogenaamde &#8216;millennials&#8217; of de meer koopkrachtige consumenten die gewijzigd koopgedrag vertonen. De consument verandert fundamenteel. Een stevige uitdaging voor fabrikanten en retailers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zo wijzigt bijvoorbeeld de manier waarop consumenten denken over voedselveiligheid. Dat begrip is voor shoppers niet langer beperkt tot gezondheidsrisico\u2019s, het slaat ook op welbevinden en transparantie. Factoren die de consument in rekening brengt, zijn onder andere de aan- of afwezigheid van schadelijke ingredi\u00ebnten, een heldere en accurate etikettering, een kleiner aantal ingredi\u00ebnten en kunstmatige ingredi\u00ebnten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Invloed retailer neemt toe<\/h2>\n<p>Deze verschuivingen in het waardeoordeel van de consument hebben nogal wat consequenties voor de voedingsindustrie. Smaken en voorkeuren van consumenten zullen steeds verder fragmenteren. De rol van de retailers in de be\u00efnvloeding van de aankoopbeslissingen zal daardoor blijven toenemen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Marktsucces zal in grote mate afhangen van het opbouwen van doelgerichte concurrentievoordelen. Kleine, jonge ondernemingen gaan aan de slag met nieuwe technologie\u00ebn, knopen relaties aan met derde partijen en werken aan hun engagement om consumentenvertrouwen te winnen. Grotere fabrikanten zullen zich moeten aanpassen om te kunnen voldoen aan de veranderde consumentenverwachtingen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meer dan ooit eisen consumenten dat ze goed ge\u00efnformeerd worden. Ze zoeken die informatie vaker online, via sociale media en mobiele toepassingen. Merken die willen winnen, zullen de informatie moeten verschaffen die consumenten zoeken, via de kanalen die consumenten gebruiken.
