Concrete interesse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tijdens zijn leven hechtte Giorgio Armani groot belang aan de onafhankelijkheid van zijn modehuis, maar uit zijn testament blijkt nu dat hij toch een andere toekomst voor ogen had voor na zijn overlijden. De Armani Foundation mag binnen de achttien maanden een eerste belang van 15% doorverkopen aan een groot luxeconcern. Armani, die geen kinderen had, noemt concreet LVMH, L\u2019Or\u00e9al en EssilorLuxottica als mogelijke kopers, al sluit hij andere, vergelijkbare groepen niet uit. Dezelfde koper zou na drie jaar zijn belang kunnen uitbreiden met een extra 30 tot 54,9%<\/a>, meldt Bloomberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topman Bernard Arnault van LVMH zou al langer interesse hebben in Armani en ook cosmeticagroep L\u2018Or\u00e9al laat weten het testament aandachtig te zullen bestuderen. Als het toch niet tot een verkoop zou komen, dan vraagt Armani dat zijn bedrijf naar de beurs trekt, waarbij zijn stichting een belang van 30,1% behoudt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armani bepaalde in zijn testament ook dat zijn bedrijf \u201cop ethische wijze, met morele integriteit en eerlijkheid\u201d moest worden geleid, dat \u201chet nastreven van een essenti\u00eble, moderne, elegante en onopzichtige stijl\u201d van cruciaal belang was, samen met \u201caandacht voor innovatie, uitmuntendheid, kwaliteit en productverfijning\u201d.
