Vooral de groei van de Belgische activiteiten met 40% was opvallend.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;De eerste maanden ging het goed, maar vanaf mei ging het echt hard&#8221;, zegt\u00a0Werner Bruyns, manager van Coolblue Belgi\u00eb, over de versnelde groei in de tweede jaarhelft. Coolblue werd dit jaar voor het eerst ingezet als overkoepelend merk, waardoor cross-selling tussen de webwinkels aanzienlijk toenam.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Volgens Coolblue-oprichter Pieter Zwart speelde de economische situatie ook een rol in het groeitempo. &#8220;Consumenten kiezen in deze tijd bewuster. Ze vergelijken meer en laten zich goed informeren. Online winkels &#8211; en zeker ons concept van specialistenshops &#8211; helpen hen daar beter bij dan fysieke winkels.&#8221; Het bedrijf zegt 396.000 nieuwe klanten te hebben gehad in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Agressief groeiplan<\/h2>\n<p>In de eerste weken van 2012 ziet Coolblue de groeitrend doorzetten. \u201cDat geeft vertrouwen in ons agressiefste groeiplan tot nu toe,\u201d aldus Bruyns nog: \u201cWe openen dit jaar een recordaantal nieuwe shops en fysieke winkels, ook buiten de consumentenelektronica.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In totaal beschikt Coolblue nu over 115 verschillende webwinkels en vier fysieke winkels (Eindhoven, Groningen, Rotterdam en Antwerpen). Coolblue werkt met webshops op thema, waarvan de bekendste zijn pdashop.nl en laptopshop.nl zijn.
