De Duitse douane beweert van wel en eist een half miljoen euro, maar de Britse modewebshop is niet akkoord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Beperkte financi\u00eble impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Asos onderhandelt met de Duitse belastingdienst over een geschil rond douaneaangiften: de douane zegt dat de Britse e-commercespeler jaren te weinig heeft aangegeven bij zendingen die de Duitse grens passeerden. De Britse modewebwinkel betwist de claim echter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het bedrijf zegt meer dan 95% van de tienduizenden onderzochte douaneaangiften te hebben doorgenomen. Op basis van die analyse raamt Asos de extra kosten op maximum 0,5 miljoen euro. De financi\u00eble impact blijft dus beperkt, zelfs als de Duitse belastingdienst voet bij stuk houdt, sust het Britse bedrijf zijn aandeelhouders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vorige maand waarschuwde Asos dat de jaaromzet onder de marktverwachtingen uitkomt door een zwakke consumentenvraag, terwijl ook de winst aan de lage kant van de eigen prognose zal liggen. De retailer wil zijn aantrekkingskracht bij de kerndoelgroep (twintigers) weer vergroten en verlaagt de kosten, nu de concurrentie vanuit China toeneemt en de Amerikaanse heffingen voor onrust zorgen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Betaalde Asos jarenlang te weinig invoerrechten op pakjes die de Duitse grens over gingen?
