Toch moet dat bedachtzaam gebeuren: de adoptie van shoppende AI-bots kan de hele bestaansreden van retailmedia ondermijnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">China achterna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Met wat vertraging heeft Europa nu de groeicurve ingezet die de Verenigde Staten en China al achter de rug hebben, citeert Emerce onderzoek van WARC Media. Vooral in Itali\u00eb, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emerce.nl\/nieuws\/europese-groei-retailmedia-verdubbelt\">Nederland en Spanje was er een sterke stijging<\/a> in de eerste jaarhelft, met een groei van 40 tot 60% aan retailmedia-uitgaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De wereldwijde markt zou dit jaar met 13,7% groeien naar 175 miljard Amerikaanse dollar (160 miljard euro), maar omdat in de Verenigde Staten en China de piekgroei al achter de rug is, neemt ook de wereldwijde groei af. Volgend jaar wordt nog een groei van 12,4% verwacht, in 2027 zelfs &#8216;maar&#8217; 11,6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat met bots?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens de onderzoekers wordt retailmedia meer en meer een volwaardig kanaal: binnen de totale mediamix zou retailmedia inmiddels circa 15% voor zijn rekening nemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het bericht waarschuwt wel dat toekomstige groei sterk afhangt van de doorbraak van &#8216;agentic AI&#8217;.
