Vergeleken met het vorige jaar is de omzet in de sector met 2,5 procent gedaald.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Dalende smartphoneverkoop<\/h2>\n<p>De <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gfk.com\/en-be\/insights\/report\/retail-reports-q1-2016\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">neerwaartse trend is in de meeste sectoren te zien<\/a>. Zo daalde de verkoop in het segment It &amp; Office Equipment met 7,7 procent, de grootste daling van allemaal. Er werd ook minder consumentenelektronica verkocht. Daar daalde de omzet met 3,9 procent. GfK verwacht wel dat het EK Voetbal daar binnenkort voor positieve cijfers zal zorgen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De dalende verkoop van smartphones was dan weer slecht nieuws voor de telecomsector, waar de omzet met 1,6 procent terugviel in het eerste kwartaal. De wearables verkochten wel goed, maar hun marktaandeel is nog te klein, om de terugval bij de smartphones te counteren.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ook de boekverkoop blijft dalen, dit kwartaal met 3,3 procent, al doet de verkoop van strips het wel nog steeds goed. De verkoop van kleine huishoudapparaten daalde dan weer met 0,7 procent, nadat het in 2015 een constante groei had laten optekenen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Er waren gelukkig ook nog enkele positieve uitschieters. De verkoop van grote huishoudapparaten blijft ook in het eerste kwartaal groeien en kon een omzetstijging van 1 procent laten optekenen. Ook Media &amp; Entertainment groeide voor het tweede kwartaal op rij, ditmaal met 0,6 procent.
