De productie zal nu stijgen naar 35 miljoen verpakkingen per jaar.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Mogelijk nog uitbreiding in de toekomst<\/h2>\n<p>Voor de uitbreiding was dat nog maar 20 miljoen verpakkingen per jaar, maar sinds vandaag is er dus sprake van bijna een verdubbeling. Dat zorgt echter niet voor nieuwe jobs, want de extra productielijn is volledig geautomatiseerd. Toch zal het aantal werknemers groeien naar een totaal van 118 tegen het einde van dit jaar, omdat het bedrijf zelf ook blijft groeien.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De uitbreiding komt er omdat Ecover vorige week zijn fabriek in Frankrijk van de hand deed. Alle producten die daar geproduceerd werden, verhuizen nu naar Belgi\u00eb. Het eerste product dat geproduceerd wordt op de nieuwe lijn is de nieuwe toiletreiniger Power.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De fabriek in Malle zal ook in de toekomst nog verder blijven groeien. \u201cWe hebben een aanpalend terrein gekocht, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tijd.be\/ondernemen\/consumentengoederen\/Ecover_verdubbelt_productie_in_Belgie.9775504-3072.art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dus er is nog plaats genoeg<\/a>\u201d, zegt Johan Synhaeve, de Europese productiedirecteur van Ecover. \u201cSommige lijnen zitten nu aan hun maximumcapaciteit.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ecover, de Belgische producent van ecologische was- en reinigingsmiddelen, heeft de productiecapaciteit in zijn fabriek in Malle uitgebreid.
