Ook drie andere logistieke centra die door derden worden uitgebaat, gaan dicht. De reorganisatie volgt op de overname van <strong>About You<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8220;Ingrijpend besluit&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Zalando hertekent zijn Europese logistieke netwerk: het bedrijf sluit het fulfilmentcentrum in Erfurt eind september 2026 en stopt de activiteiten in drie magazijnen buiten Duitsland die door externe dienstverleners worden gerund. Het modeplatform wil met deze reorganisatie de capaciteit in het gecombineerde netwerk van Zalando en About You in lijn brengen met de vraag en de infrastructuur toekomstbestendig te maken, zo luidt het in een persbericht donderdagochtend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het gaat om een &#8220;ingrijpend besluit&#8221;, geeft het bedrijf toe: al meer dan tien jaar vormt een team van circa 2.700 medewerkers in Erfurt een essentieel onderdeel van het succes en de logistieke ruggengraat. Zalando voelt zich verbonden met de stad en de regio en werkt samen met lokale overheden en maatschappelijke organisaties om de impact te beperken. Gesprekken met de ondernemingsraad over een sociaal plan zijn opgestart. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Met de aangekondigde aanpassingen behoudt Zalando Group 14 fulfilmentcentra in 7 landen.
