Ondanks een lichte omzetstijging liep de marge terug. De parfumerieketen houdt wel vast aan de jaarprognose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zwakke decembermaand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Volgens voorlopige cijfers steeg de omzet in het eerste kwartaal van het gebroken boekjaar van Douglas tot en met december met 1,7% jaar op jaar tot 1,67 miljard euro, meldde het bedrijf maandag. De aangepaste EBITDA\u2011marge (voor rente, belastingen, afschrijvingen, amortisatie en bijzondere posten) daalde echter naar 19,9%, tegen 21,5% een jaar eerder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De retailer wijst op een zwakke decembermaand in Duitsland, Nederland en Frankrijk. De winkelomzet steeg in het eerste kwartaal met 0,4%, mede dankzij de opening van 13 bijkomende winkels, de online verkopen groeiden met 4,2%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Douglas wijt de ontwikkeling aan klanten die sterker op prijs letten. Acties rond Singles\u2019 Day en Black Week presteerden relatief goed, maar trokken ook de kerstinkopen naar voren. Topman Sander van der Laan blijft evenwel uitgaan van een jaaromzet tussen 4,65 en 4,8 miljard euro tot het einde van september.
