De discounter is momenteel vooral in Oost-Europa te vinden, maar wil de komende jaren fiks uitbreiden en kijkt daarvoor ook naar Belgi\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kunde ist K\u00f6nig<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De keten werd pas in 1994 opgericht, maar het heeft <a href=\"http:\/\/www.madeinantwerpen.be\/nieuws\/kik-komt-naar-antwerpen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ondertussen al meer dan 3.200 vestigingen<\/a>. De komende vijf jaar moeten er daar nog eens 1.500 bijkomen, waaronder dus ook eentje in Antwerpen. Naast de Scheldestad zouden echter ook Gent, Brussel en Kortrijk op de planning staan van KIK, dat voor \u2018Kunde is K\u00f6nig\u2019 staat. Het heeft vrij lang geduurd voor KIK de weg vond naar Belgi\u00eb, hoewel het al enkele jaren actief is in Nederland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KIK zal in Belgi\u00eb de concurrentie moeten aangaan met winkelketens als Zeeman en Wibra, al bevinden de prijzen en het assortiment van de Duitse keten zich net boven die twee concurrenten. In het voorbije boekjaar haalde KIK een omzet van 1,7 miljard euro, een groei van 7%.
