{"id":142094,"date":"2026-02-12T11:08:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T10:08:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/?p=142094"},"modified":"2026-02-12T11:08:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T10:08:56","slug":"e-commerce-zit-in-een-stroomversnelling-bij-delhaize","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/e-commerce-zit-in-een-stroomversnelling-bij-delhaize\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cE-commerce zit in een stroomversnelling bij Delhaize\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hoewel e-commerce nog een klein aandeel vertegenwoordigt in de totale voedingsmarkt, gaan de evoluties razendsnel. <strong>Delhaize <\/strong>ziet hoe online en fysieke winkels elkaar versterken, met een belangrijke rol voor de franchisenemers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dubbelcijferige groei<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Van een pionier gesproken: al sinds 1989 bezorgt Delhaize de boodschappen aan huis, aanvankelijk met Caddyhome, een dienst waarbij klanten telefonisch konden bestellen. In 2001 startte de retailer met de webshop wineworld.com, in 2009 met delhaizedirect.be en in 2016 met Delhaize.be. De afgelopen vijf jaar groeide online bij de retailer telkens met dubbele cijfers en dat zal de komende jaren niet anders zijn: \u201cE-commerce zit in een stroomversnelling bij Delhaize\u201d, zegt Jennifer Nemry, VP e-commerce, foodservice &amp; data bij de retailer. Zij is \u00e9\u00e9n van de sprekers op het Omnichannel &amp; E-Commerce Congress van RetailDetail, op 19 maart in Brussel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vorig jaar ontplooide de retailer al verschillende opgemerkte initiatieven. Zo kondigde Delhaize in maart aan dat het als eerste supermarkt in Belgi\u00eb <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/onlineboodschappen-afhalen-is-voortaan-gratis-bij-delhaize\/\">geen servicekosten meer aanrekent<\/a> voor het afhalen van e-commercebestellingen in de winkel. In mei volgde dan de opening van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/delhaize-lanceert-aanval-op-collectgo-vanuit-nieuw-dc\/\">een nieuw distributiecentrum voor e-commerce<\/a> in Vorst, waarmee Delhaize de e-commercecapaciteit verdubbelde van 25.000 naar 50.000 bestellingen per week. De ambitie is duidelijk: de retailer, die naar eigen zeggen al Belgisch marktleider is in thuisbezorgen, wil ook de nummer \u00e9\u00e9n worden in click &amp; collect van boodschappen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Onlineklanten bezoeken ook de winkels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Centraal daarbij staat de omnichannel-visie van Delhaize: 80% van de klanten die de afhaalservice gebruiken, doen immers ook boodschappen in de winkel. Tegelijk trekt de supermarktketen via zijn onlinediensten ook nieuwe klanten aan: vooral de jongere generaties, gezinnen en professionele klanten. Zelfstandige ondernemers hebben dan ook goed begrepen hoe belangrijk afhalen is, als essenti\u00eble hefboom voor groei en klantenbinding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook dit en de volgende jaren staat er qua omnichannel-initiatieven heel wat op het programma bij Delhaize. Jennifer Nemry kan nog niet \u00e0lles onthullen, maar komt toch een tipje van de sluier oplichten op het RetailDetail Omnichannel &amp; E-Commerce Congress, op 19 maart in Brussel. Ook op het podium die dag: Laura Toledano, general manager Western Europe bij <strong>Zalando<\/strong>, Kelly Cuppens, CEO van <strong>Drukke Mama\u2019s<\/strong>, de succesvolle webshop die al verschillende awards in ontvangst mocht nemen, en omnichannel-expert Gino Van Ossel (Vlerick Business School). Meer sprekers kondigen we snel aan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tickets zijn vanaf nu beschikbaar. Tot 25 februari profiteer je van vroegboekkorting.
