{"id":14515,"date":"2016-08-18T06:29:26","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T06:29:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/food\/croissance-minime-de-la-consommation-europeenne\/"},"modified":"2016-08-18T06:29:26","modified_gmt":"2016-08-18T06:29:26","slug":"croissance-minime-de-la-consommation-europeenne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/croissance-minime-de-la-consommation-europeenne\/","title":{"rendered":"Europese consumptie groeit amper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Het bedrag dat Europese consumenten hebben besteed aan dagelijkse aankopen als voeding, dranken of verzorgingsproducten, groeide in het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar met het laagste cijfer ooit.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Laagste cijfers sinds 2008<\/h2>\n<p>De prijzen van FMCG-producten stegen in het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar met amper 0,7% in vergelijking met een jaar geleden, terwijl de verkochte volumes stegen met 0,1%: het laagste niveau sinds meer dan twee jaar. Als gevolg daarvan zagen supermarkten hun opbrengsten aan de kassa stijgen met 0,8%, het laagste cijfers sinds de metingen van onderzoeksbureau Nielsen begonnen in het laatste kwartaal van 2008.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Belgi\u00eb stegen de prijzen met 2,9%, maar daartegenover stond een daling met 2,9% van de verkochte volumes, zodat de kassa-opbrengsten uiteindelijk stabiel bleven. In Nederland stegen de prijzen met 1,9% en daalden de volumes met 1,0% waardoor de retailers hun opbrengsten toch met 0,9% zagen toenemen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Gevolg van prijsconcurrentie\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>Van de 21 onderzochte Europese landen kende Turkije de sterkste stijging van de opbrengsten aan de kassa (+8,9%), gevolgd door Noorwegen (+3,5%) en Zweden (+3,2%). Aan het andere eind van de rangschikking zien we de grootste dalingen in Griekenland (-7,2%) en Finland (-4,6%). Van de vijf grootste Europese markten presteerde Spanje het sterkst (+2,1%), gevolgd door Itali\u00eb (+1,2%). Het Verenigd Koninkrijk beleefde het zwakste kwartaal sinds bijna twee jaar (-1,6%) met de laagste groei in deze groep en de derde laagste groei onder de 21 landen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeze historisch lage prestaties in heel Europa worden gedreven door twee factoren\u201d, zegt Jean-Jacques Vandenheede, European director of retail insights bij Nielsen. \u201cEr is het feit dat Pasen dit jaar niet in het tweede kwartaal viel, en vorig jaar wel. Belangrijker is de zeer lage groei in Frankrijk en Duitsland en de opmerkelijke daling in het VK, een gevolg van de heftige prijsconcurrentie tussen de retailers.
