Ondertussen zoekt het modehuis naar een nieuwe partner, zoals gevraagd door overleden oprichter Giorgio Armani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geweer van schouder veranderd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De omzet van het Armani-merk daalde met 2,8% naar 2,19 miljard euro, terwijl de totale omzet \u2013 inclusief licentiepartners \u2013 op 4 miljard euro bleef steken. CEO Giuseppe Marsocci wijst op een structurele verschuiving in hoe consumenten naar luxe kijken. \u201cWe zien een verandering in de benadering van luxe en mode door zowel huidige als potenti\u00eble kopers,\u201d aldus Marsocci. \u201cDat moeten we serieus nemen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ook de eerste maanden van 2026 tonen eenzelfde beeld, met vooral wisselkoerseffecten die de resultaten blijven drukken. Armani is ook lang niet alleen: concurrenten als <strong>LVMH <\/strong>en <strong>Kering <\/strong>kampen al een tijdlang met teruglopende vraag, terwijl zelfs <strong>Herm\u00e8s <\/strong>\u2013 normaal een toonbeeld van veerkracht \u2013 tekenen van vertraging vertoont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat met de erfenis van Giorgio Armani?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Toch is er ook goed nieuws: de winstgevendheid verbeterde. De EBITDA steeg met 3,2% naar 152,7 miljoen euro, terwijl de operationele winst met 2% toenam tot 52,6 miljoen euro. Armani koos bewust voor kwaliteit boven kwantiteit, en voor winst boven groei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinds het overlijden van oprichter Giorgio Armani in september vorig jaar is immers de hamvraag wie een deel van het bedrijf koopt?Zijn erfgenamen kregen de opdracht om een minderheidsbelang van 15% te verkopen, met mogelijk een verdere uitbreiding later.
