Er zijn echter wel grote verschillen doorheen de 42 Europese landen. In Liechtenstein, Zwitserland en Luxemburg staat de consument er het beste voor.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Vertraagde groei op grote markten<\/h2>\n<p>In Wit-Rusland, Moldavi\u00eb en Oekra\u00efne moeten ze het echter met heel wat minder koopkracht stellen. Een Oekra\u00efense consument moet het stellen met slechts \u00e9\u00e9n tachtigste van de koopkracht van iemand die in Liechtenstein woont, blijkt uit een rapport van GfK.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gemiddeld <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gfk.com\/insights\/press-release\/pp-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beschikt de Europese consument over 13.672 euro<\/a> om vrij te spenderen: dat is een stijging met 0,3% ten opzichte van een jaar eerder. De kleine groei is te wijten aan wisselkoerseffecten en de vertraagde groei in enkele van de grotere landen in Europa. In landen als IJsland, Bulgarije, Roemeni\u00eb, Kroati\u00eb en Letland stijgt de koopkracht dan weer wel met meer dan 5%.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Liechtenstein kan een gemiddelde consument 63.011 euro uitgeven, ofwel 4,5 keer het Europese gemiddelde. Daarmee zijn ze veruit de rijkste consumenten in Europa. Een inwoner van Zwitserland kan drie keer meer uitgeven dan de gemiddelde Europeaan.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Belgi\u00eb bevindt zich op een dertiende plaats, met een koopkracht van 18.983 euro. Nederland moet het stellen met een vijftiende plaats en een koopkracht van 17.901 euro.
