Metro Group kondigt het nieuwe concept alvast met de nodige superlatieven aan als \u2018de toekomst van het winkelen\u2019. De markthal is onderdeel van een nieuwe strategie bij Real: &#8220;We wilden ons bestaande concept niet doen evolueren, maar iets totaal iets nieuws cre\u00ebren, dat ongezien is in Duitsland\u201d, zegt Henning Gieseke, die samen met Patrick M\u00fcller-Sarmiento de divisie Real leidt. \u201cDaarom hebben we ook gekozen voor een nieuwe naam en een nieuw corporate design.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dat was ongetwijfeld nodig, want zoals wel meer hypermarkten staat Real al enkele jaren onder druk. De retailer wordt vaak beschreven als een \u2018zorgenkind\u2019 voor Metro. Deze volledig vernieuwde winkel, een miljoeneninvestering, moet dan ook de ommekeer inluiden en de blauwdruk vormen voor de toekomst van Real. Meer emotie, scherpere prijzen en meer belevenis, belooft de keten. Inspiratie vonden de toplui naar eigen zeggen in Japan en de Verenigde Staten. Al zou het ons niet verbazen als ze ook bij Carrefour in Bergen passeerden, want er zijn gelijkenissen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Versmarkt<\/h2>\n<p>Een uitgebreid horeca-aanbod staat centraal in de hypermarkt, die een verkoopoppervlakte heeft van 11.500 m\u00b2. Shoppers vinden er een piazza met 110 zitplaatsen en een wintertuin met 70 plaatsen, waar ze ter plaatse kunnen eten. Het aanbod varieert met de seizoenen, de gerechten worden voor de ogen van de bezoekers bereid. Op de versmarkt is er keuze te over: saladebar, pizzeria, oesterbar, sushi, grill, vegetarisch, bio, een banketbakkerij, een koffiebranderij, een wijnbar\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ook in non-food innoveert Markthalle Krefeld: de \u2018Innovation Lounge\u2019 presenteert de nieuwste digitale trends met de recentste smartphones, tablets, laptops, televisies en spelconsoles. Er is een fietswereld met herstelplaats en een afdeling \u2018Mijn familie\u2019, met alles voor de eerste levensjaren van je kind, van de zwangerschap tot de eerste schooldag.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De hypermarkt zet zwaar in op service en nam daarom wel zeventig nieuwe medewerkers in dienst. Er is uiteraard gratis wifi, klanten kunnen contactloos betalen en het kasticket ontvangen ze desgewenst op hun smartphone.
