Vooral <strong>in de VS ging zakte de marge stevig<\/strong> (4,7% naar 3,7%), terwijl ze in Belgi\u00eb nog enigszins stand hield (4,9% naar 4,6%). In totaal zakte de bedrijfsmarge van 4,4% naar 3,5%, en door de strategie van prijsverlagingen aan te houdend, zal de marge de eerstkomende twee kwartalen waarschijnlijk niet stijgen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>+3% op de hoofdmarkten, +62% op de groeimarkten<\/h2>\n<p>In <strong>Belgi\u00eb<\/strong> ging de omzet met 3,2% omhoog naar 1,191 miljard euro, maar kende de omzet een daling van 0,9% op vergelijkbare basis. De bedrijfswinst uit de Belgische activiteiten zakte met 1,9% naar 55 miljoen euro, deels door de impact van de automatische loonindexering.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De <strong>Verenigde Staten<\/strong> kenden in euro een gelijkaardige omzetstijging (+3,1%), maar in dollar zakte de omzet door de sluiting van 126 winkels met 1,2%. Zonder die sluitingen stond ook in dollar een lichte omzetstijging (+0,7%) op de tabellen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Zuidoost-Europa en Azi\u00eb<\/strong> ging de omzet \u2013 vooral dankzij de overname van<strong> Delta Maxi<\/strong> in augustus \u2013 met 62,4% omhoog. Zonder de invloed van de Servische keten bedroeg de groei ten Oosten van Belgi\u00eb nog steeds een dikke 10%, hoewel Delhaize geen exacte cijfers daarover meedeelde. Wel wees de groep op de grote vooruitgang in Griekenland, ondanks de voortrazende crisis daar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Negatieve \u00e9n positieve vooruitzichten<\/h2>\n<p>Voor de rest van 2012 verwacht Delhaize nog meer negatieve invloed op de bedrijfsresultaten van een aantal strategische keuzes: vooral de <strong>aanhoudende focus op prijsverlagingen<\/strong> zal negatief inwerken op de marge. De bedrijfswinst zou dan ook \u201c15% tot 20% dalen aan ongewijzigde wisselkoersen\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het <strong>kostenbesparingsprogramma<\/strong> zal dan weer een positieve invloed op de resultaten hebben, en dat wordt wegens succes nog wat versneld. Delhaize Group had voor heel 2012 eerst 500 miljoen euro aan kostenbesparingen voorzien, maar daarvan tegen eind maart al 425 miljoen gehaald.
