Over de hele lijn was er sprake van een groei van 5%, al voldeed het bedrijf niet helemaal aan de verwachtingen van analisten.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Sterke winststijging<\/h2>\n<p>In het derde kwartaal haalde Nike een omzet van 8,4 miljard dollar (7,8 miljard euro): ondanks een groei van 5% is dat net iets minder dan wat analisten hadden verwacht. Toch steeg de winst van Nike met een vijfde naar 1,1 miljard dollar (iets meer dan een miljard euro). \u201cDe kracht van de diverse en globale portfolio van Nike heeft opnieuw gezorgd voor <a href=\"http:\/\/s1.q4cdn.com\/806093406\/files\/doc_news\/2017\/Q3\/FY17-Q3-Combined-NIKE-Press-Release-Schedules-FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">een solide kwartaal van groei en winstgevendheid<\/a>\u201d, zegt CEO Mark Parker.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>De omzet van het Nike-merk steeg bij gelijke wisselkoersen met 7% naar 7,9 miljard dollar (7,3 miljard euro). Bij Converse steeg de omzet dan weer met 3% naar 498 miljoen dollar (460 miljoen euro).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Grootste groei in Japan<\/h2>\n<p>De grootste groei voor het merk Nike kwam er in Japan, waar de omzet met 15% de hoogte in ging. Bij gelijke wisselkoersen bleef daar wel nog maar 8% van over. In China was er sprake van een omzetgroei van 9%, op de derde plaats staan de &#8220;opkomende markten&#8221;, die er met 8% op vooruit gingen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Noord-Amerika en Europa was de groei kleiner: in Noord-Amerika steeg de omzet met 3%, terwijl dat in West-Europa net iets beter was met 4%. Ook hier hadden de valuta hun effect, want bij gelijke wisselkoersen was er sprake van een groei van 10%. In Centraal- en Oost-Europa bleef de omzet met een groei van 1% quasi gelijk.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Nike verdeelt zijn verkoop in de segmenten Footwear, Apparel en Equipment.
