Daar zit een late Pasen voor iets tussen, maar ook de aanhoudend lage inflatiecijfers. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Nauwelijks inflatie<\/h2>\n<p>De Nielsencijfers die de supermarktverkopen in 21 Europese landen in kaart brengen, tonen een daling van de volumes met 0,7%, terwijl de prijzen stegen met 0,9%. Daardoor zagen supermarkten hun opbrengsten aan de kassa toenemen met een povere 0,2%, het laagste niveau sinds acht jaar. Een wat ongelukkige timing van de Paasvakantie be\u00efnvloedde de vergelijkingsbasis negatief. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDe prijsinflatie is het belangrijke cijfer, de lage verkoopgroei en de terugval in volume zijn\u00a0puur een gevolg van de timing van Pasen\u201d, bevestigt vicepresident Olivier Deschamps. \u201cDe stijging van consumentenprijzen met 0,9% bleef stabiel in vergelijking met de 1% voor 2016. Dat duidt erop dat er maar weinig inflatiedruk is op de Europese FMCG-markt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Belgi\u00eb stabiel, Nederland daalt<\/h2>\n<p>In Belgi\u00eb bedroeg de nominale groei 0,0%: de volumes daalden met 0,9% (als gevolg van een late Paasvakantie), terwijl de prijzen stegen met 0,9%: zo hielden beide factoren elkaar perfect in evenwicht. In Nederland daalden de volumes met 1,9% en stegen de prijzen met 1,7%, wat leidde tot een terugval van de opbrengsten\u00a0met 0,2%.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Turkije noteerde de sterkste opbrengstengroei van de gemeten landen (+11,6%), gevolgd door Slovakije (+3,9%) en Hongarije (+3,4%). E\u00e9n van de grootste dalers is Griekenland (-7,3%), waar de verkopen al negatief zijn sinds het begin van 2016.\u00a0<br \/>\nOnder de vijf grote West-Europese makten presteerde Spanje het best (+2,2%), gevolgd door Itali\u00eb (+0,7%).
