Daarbij zal het platform van Zalando worden ingezet voor het uitbouwen van de merken van andere bedrijven die samenwerken met het Duitse bedrijf.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Bestseller<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWe hebben al veel uitgebreid; van binnen- naar buitenland, naar meer categorie\u00ebn en nu naar business to business. We zullen <a href=\"https:\/\/fashionunited.nl\/nieuws\/business\/zalando-wij-willen-de-toonaangevende-modebestemming-in-europa-worden\/2017061928987\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ons platform inzetten voor andere merken<\/a>, denk hierbij ook aan mediaservices\u201d, zei medeoprichter David Schneider tijdens Zalando PlayDay in Berlijn.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Het eerste merk dat zich aansluit bij de nieuwe B2B-service van Zalando is het Deense <strong>Bestseller<\/strong>. Dat is geen verrassing, want eigenaar Anders Polvsen heeft al een aandeel van 10% in Zalando. Ook met schoenenketen <strong>Shuh.de<\/strong> en met enkele winkels van <strong>Tommy Hilfiger<\/strong> in Berlijn werd een samenwerking afgesloten. Bij die laatste twee zal de voorraad van de fysieke winkels aangeboden worden via Zalando.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Daarnaast kwam Zalando ook met het nieuws naar buiten dat <strong>Weekday<\/strong> en <strong>Nike<\/strong> zich hebben aangesloten bij het partnerprogramma. Dat wil zeggen dat een groot deel van hun collecties zal verkocht worden op Zalando, in ruil voor commissie. Zalando moet die dan niet meer inkopen via een groothandel.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Omzet verdubbelen<\/h2>\n<p>Zalando wil de komende jaren sterk blijven groeien en mikt tegen 2020 minstens op een verdubbeling van de omzet uit 2016, die toen uitkwam op 3,6 miljard euro. Analisten zien het met een omzet van 7,6 miljard euro in 2020 zelfs nog groter. Die groei moet onder andere komen dankzij twee nieuwe fulfilmentcentra in Zweden en Polen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnze primaire focus ligt op groei, er is niemand in deze unieke positie die Zalando heeft. We willen echter wel winstgevend blijven, op een duurzame manier\u201d, zegt vicepresident Birgit Opp. \u201cWe hebben 20 miljoen klanten, maar Europa heeft 420 miljoen mensen.
