Ten opzichte van 2015 groeide het marktaandeel en verdrievoudigde de EBITDA. Ook voor dit jaar wordt opnieuw grote groei verwacht.<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Omnichannel<\/h2>\n<p>Eind 2013 zette Fun een joint venture op\u00a0met e-commercespeler <strong>Fundoo<\/strong>, nadat de keten in 2011 in de problemen was gekomen na een mislukte expansie naar Walloni\u00eb en een ontbrekende strategie op vlak van e-commerce.\u00a0In 2015 werd een nieuw concept gelanceerd, dat gebaseerd is op de pijlers \u2018play, create &amp; party\u2019 en het uitbouwen van de omnichannelstrategie. Ondertussen zijn al een aantal winkels omgebouwd naar dat nieuwe concept, en die winkels tonen een omzetgroei van meer dan 10%.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bovendien werd de online service uitgebreid en kwam er een samenwerking met Bol.com om zo specifieke items aan te bieden in de Benelux, met als doel de e-commerce omzet te verdubbelen.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dankzij die nieuwe strategie kan Fun de voorbije jaren steeds betere cijfers voorleggen. Zo wordt in de kerncategorie speelgoed jaarlijks aan marktaandeel gewonnen, ondanks het inkrimpen van het aantal winkels. In 2015 werd voor het eerst in jaren ook een positieve EBITDA gerealiseerd, die in 2016 nog eens werd verdriedubbeld.
