Die prestatie is vooral te danken aan prijsverhogingen en aan een positieve dynamiek in de categorie\u00ebn verzorging en ijs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<h2>Langetermijnstrategie<\/h2>\n<p>De omzet van het concern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unilever.com\/Images\/ir-q2-2017-full-announcement_tcm244-508751_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">groeide met 5,5% tot 27,7 miljard euro<\/a>. De nettowinst ging er met 22,4% op vooruit en bedroeg 3,3 miljard euro. Hiermee doet Unilever beter dan de markten waarin het actief is. De groei is evenwel het gevolg van hogere prijzen, niet van stijgende volumes. Dankzij een verhoogd innovatieritme weet de multinational meer waarde te cre\u00ebren.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\nVolgens CEO Paul Polman bewijzen de cijfers de deugdelijkheid van de langetermijnstrategie van de groep. Het veranderingstraject \u2018<em>Connected 4 Growth<\/em>\u2019 maakt van Unilever een meer wendbaar en minder complex bedrijf dat sneller weet te antwoorden op veranderende consumententrends. Polman voorziet in de tweede helft van dit jaar nog een versnelling van de groei.\u00a0<br \/>\n\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Margarines lopen achter<\/h2>\n<p>In de zowat alle categorie\u00ebn deed Unilever het goed: in verzorging waren er sterke prestaties voor de merken Signal en Dove, in huishoudproducten kwam de groei vooral uit Azi\u00eb en Latijns-Amerika, in voeding zijn Knorr en Hellmann\u2019s de sterkhouders, terwijl Ben &amp; Jerry\u2019s en Magnum voor mooie cijfers zorgden in ijs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\nEnkel de margarinedivisie blijft achterophinken en is niet winstgevend. Na het mislukte overnamebod van <strong>Kraft Heinz<\/strong> heeft het Unilever-management dan ook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.retaildetail.be\/nl\/news\/food\/unilever-gaat-harder-besparen-en-margarines-afstoten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">beslist om die divisie te verkopen<\/a>. Zonder de margarines zou de autonome omzetgroei immers 3,4% bedragen tegenover 3% m\u00e9t de margarines.
